Came in a standard U.S. pint glass. Dark brown color with no head.
It had a slight coffee smell. Behind that was an unpleasant sour smell.
Tasted like a strong, bitter coffee, then watery. A little roasted malt. The unpleasant smell came forward as a bitter/sour taste.
Lighter body and low carbonation.
A real disappointment. Watery taste with an off-taste. I asked someone else in my party what they thought of it and they shared the same type of off-taste traits.
Pours a medium brown color. Aromas of roast malts, touch of chocolate and coffee. Flavor is smooth dry malt with a mellow hop finish and aftertaste. HuldgaardRJ (179) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - NOV 22, 2015
(4) A fine porter. There is nothing here that should make you go out of your way to try it, it is simple and okay balanced. Good work. GreatDane1632 (1169) - North Dakota, USA - APR 27, 2015
On draft at the pub -- Solid example of a porter. Nothing exceptional, and nothing flawed with it. Solid example from start to finish. kaser (6312) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 13, 2015
Had this poured from draft at McGuires in Pensacola. Black with white head. Nutty and chocolate flavor. Smooth. Creamy mouthfeel. Good italarican (1550) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 7, 2014
On tap at the Pensacola brewpub. Pours dark black with creamy off white head. Dry but moderately thick and silky mouthfeel with coffee notes that linger forever. Mild irish stout to start with, earthy coffee and nuts for miles in the finish. Nicely done.

at Brewers Ball 2014. not sure if this is the same as the coffee porter or not, but since a lot of people say it has a lot of coffee flavor, im going with this one. k0mpsa (2959) - Tuusula, FINLAND - DEC 27, 2013
Black color, white powder head. Aroma is smooth roasty, coffee. Taste is roasty, coffee, balanced. Suprisingly nice. jbruner (4734) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - MAY 27, 2013
Pours a translucent black brown on tap with thin lacy cream head that laces nicely. Aroma of toasted chocolate malt, sweet chocolate, and a hint of soy. Taste is a mildly bitter, richly chocolate like porter. Good stuff, better than I was expecting. ogiergrove (120) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - MAY 15, 2013
Pours clear medium brown, little head but vigorously carbonated. Nice nutty and mild roasty notes. A pretty light porter (closer to a brown), but a good beer.

On tap at McGuires. Nose is roast, smoke, some cocoa, and earthy hops. Pour is dark brown with an off white head. Flavor is similar, with tons of cocoa and almost smokey notes. Not bad at all.
