On tap at Malvern brewpub. Dark red pour with quickly dissipating white head. Red wine berries plums bread cherries. Medium sweet and light bitterness. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Kind of brandy like. Very Christmas like.

Pours a nice ruby color with a medium tan head that dissipated quickly. Aroma has dark fruit...black cherry...and earthy hop notes. Flavor follows suit and steps up the earthy hops a bit...some toasted malts...nice job of adding that belgian fruitiness without sweetness...really tasty. Mouthfeel is medium/full and the finish is dry and earthy/leathery/roasty. hopdog (12953) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 30, 2012
On tap at Malvern. Dark brown with a small sized off white head. Somewhat earthy, burnt, with some candi sugar in the tastes. Some dark fruitiness in the background.
