On tap at Capone’s. Poured a cloudy golden color with an off white head. Nice funy, brett - farmyard and some leater, fruits, wood, and earthy. I liked the funkiness. hopscotch (11486) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JAN 3, 2016
Bottle... Pours cloudy and yellow with a tiny, creamy, white head that’s gone in a flash. The nose is woody and funky with a trace of vanilla. Medium to full-bodied with modest carbonation. The flavor is woody, citric and tart with a light level of funk. Tangy, tongue-numbing finish. Bottle courtesy of Josh from Philly! czar (9680) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 6, 2016
pours almost cloudy bright golden with a very nice creamy white cap offering good retention and lacing. orchard and berry fruitiness, dried apricots as well, fruity, zesty and peppery sceiiszohn yeast; almost juicy citrus; light to medium acidity - relatively complex flora; lightly tannic wood; spices. moderate carbonation, light body, dry, tart woodsy finish. good stuff! egajdzis (6856) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 22, 2014
Hazy golden color with a medium sized, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of leather, citrus, earth, wood, brett. Taste of much of the same, earthy yeast, spices, grass, citrus, wood, and a tart, dry finish. tom10101 (6315) - Quebec, CANADA - AUG 6, 2016
Bottle (750 ml), shared at tasting. Thanks to Dan! Bottle 177/300. May 2014. Hazy orangey with a small white head leaving little lacing. Aroma is of grains, citrus, brettanomyces, herbal notes, mineral notes and peppery/spicy notes. Taste is grainy, fruity with brettanomyces, peppery/spicy notes, herbal and minderal notes. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Grainy finish. Far from my best Mckenzie Saison. Lack depth. Maybe a bit too old. Super grainy.

Bottle shared. Hazy deep gold pour with foamy white head. Aroma is fruity, peachy, buttery, oaky, lightly acetic. Taste is tart, light acetic notes. Palate is med bodied with light carbonation. Decent. TomDecapolis (4636) - Milton, Delaware, USA - OCT 25, 2014
Pours a hazy golden orange with a medium bubbly white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, vanilla, barnyard funk, hay and citrus. Flavor of tropical fruits, tart sour cherries, mixed citrus. Nice and dry with a touch of bitterness. beastiefan2k (4230) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - MAR 14, 2015
This beer is overrated, bump bump. Pours milky golden painted, bump bump. Lemony Brett aroma but thin and spikey. A lot of tartness at the end of labor, really overwhelms the other aspects, maybe even a bit of acetic. Just too tart and thinning with harsh aftertaste fun but need something to balance it. mathieuc (4000) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 11, 2016
Pours a hazy golden with some particles throughout and a thin white head that leaves some lacing. Nose is of oak, light vinegar and wine. Taste is fruity, winey and lightly tart. Vinous mouthfeel with a moderate body and carbonation. Well crafted enough, a good barrel-aged saison! Nothing really stands out, though. reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 1, 2014
Pours a hazy honey/orange with a thick white head...bit of a gusher from the 750...nice lacing and retention. Aroma has sour stonefruits, very light yogurt, and a very nice oaky vanilla...soft peppery spice. Flavor is more vinous, rindy and earthy...nice funkiness but still tart...awesome barrel...mild spice beneath. Mouthfeel is light and very lively/silky with a dry rindy/funky/faint spicy finish. Very nice!
