3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Devon Brewpub. Pours cloudy gold with two finger white head. Excellent lacing. Citrus, lemon, resin, grass. High bitterness, low sweetness. Medium bodied, lively. Has a long trailing peppery acidity that kind of ruins the up front flavor.
UPDATED: DEC 8, 2013 Draft at beer fest. Pours hazy yellow with a medium sized white head. The aroma has a piney kick. The taste is very bitter, dry, grapefruit balance. I approve this brew. obxdude10 (2374) - Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 1, 2013
Excellent IPA! Had two pints of this on draft at the Devon location. The beer poured a copper color, but didn’t sport much of a head. The beer did leave some sticky lacing around the glass, though. I smelled some pine, grapefruit, and lemon in the nose. The body was smooth and extremely drinkable, and featured plenty of spicy and woody hops. Some other flavors were dry grapefruit, pine, caramel malt, yeast and a slight hint of lemon. The beer finished dry and spicy but another one was right behind it!
