On tap at brewpub. Pours a hazy, pale yellow with a large fluffy white head and some lacing. The aroma is pure wheat with the citrus overtones and a hint of spice. Taste was light bananas, wheat, light cloves, and slight malts that finished with a light touch of yeast on the back . Creamy and refreshing with a nice lingering finish at the end. joeymacaroni (309) - Wagontown, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 26, 2008
tasted @ Malvern. aroma is typical of hefe’s, banana and clove. taste is lots of banana, clove, orange. bland finish. meh. DeadGuyFrank (347) - http://westchesterbeer.com, USA - AUG 23, 2008
Quality at the Glen Mills brewhouse is vastly superior to the Malvern brehouse, this white beer is a good example. True to the style, nice citurs hop notes, perfect blonde cloudy appearance good finish. Something odd, though (maybe it is just my palate) - it had a funny heavy water taste in the first moments in my palate, weird. cheap (5860) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 22, 2008
Had this at the brewhouse in Melvern. Good hefe appearance. Cloudy and strw colored. Interesting slightly sour aroma. Some gumball flavors and a little tart on the tongue without being overly fruity. This stuff is not sweet, nor is it overly spiced. It does have the essence of a good hefe without being over the top. Not overwhelming in any one of the attributes which make a hefe. Some banana and very little bitterness can be detected. Decent rather friendly brew. Goodgrief (2028) - Middletown, Delaware, USA - MAR 10, 2008
July 2007 - Really light pour, pale pale yellow with white highlights. Aroma smelled like corn. This beer is highlighted by a sharp citrusy zing (instead of typical banana like fruity flavors) behind a nice wheat and mild clove base. Pretty good.

McKenzie’s in Glen Mills, PA-Draft, Yellowish-orange coloring. Fairly light even for a hefe weizen. More an america feel with a yeast feel and a wheaty aroma. Overall not bad, just pretty low for a hefe weizen for my liking. Ty5592 (1018) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 1, 2007
Hazy yellow with fizzy head. Aroma of banana and wheat. The taste wsas the same. decent beer, refreshing. JB175 (1665) - Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 9, 2007
Golden yellow color with a fizzy white head. Aroma is light, sweet, and citrusy – bits of lemon and coriander thrown in as well. Taste is light and sweet with some sharp citrus, coriander, light wheat, and a nice tanginess to it. Nice on a hot day, but more into Wit territory than a true Hefe should be User37895 (3042) - - JUN 3, 2006
Ah, not a bad beer... actually pretty enjoyable. But, about on par for the hefe family. This beer poured a pale cloudy color with almost a fluorescent green tint. The aroma was clove-like and somewhat citrusy. In terms of flavor, the spices were minimal beyond the mild cloves and the citrus was most detectable. The flavor was somewhat weak and any hint of bananas was absent. Mouthfeel was light. I’d have it again, but not if it were lined up with some other great hefes on draft. axilla (962) - New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 1, 2005
Poured a cloudy golden/brown body with a white head. Aroma is mostly bananas with some malts and dough. Flavors were bananas, sweet bubble gum, and yeast. Good, refreshing hefe. Medium/thin mouthfeel.
