Hazy golden orange layered color with lasting white sheen. Tart lemon, earthy dung and piss, wet wood aromas. Light, smooth mouthfeel. Lemongrass, dry hay, dry herbal flavors with dry spices, tart pit fruits--very good. AcctError96987 (3722) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 4, 2012

A: This saison appears a hazy yellow hue with a half inch of white, fluffy head. The head falls away to a thin layer after a few minutes, leaving a thin sheet of lacing on the glass.
S: Stunning aroma! This beer smells simply fantastic. Funky and wild, similar to a Belgian lambic, I could take in this scent all day. Citrus, floral and spice notes linger behind the funk, creating a delectable bouquet of scents. Very enticing indeed.
T: While the beer tastes rather delicious, it doesn’t quite measure up to the phenomenal aroma. The funky, wild aspect is more subdued in the flavor. Citrus, earth, light funk, and subtle spice comprise the basic makeup of the flavor profile.
M: The body is a bit thin and the feel is just slightly too watery - a minor flaw in an otherwise fabulous beer.
D: A pleasant surprise. What a terrific beer. Highly recommended.

750ml bottle from Pinnochio’s, split with ablackshear. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a white head. Aroma is citrusy, lemon, orange. Medium on the palate with soft, creamy carbonation. Flavor is tart, Brett, lemon, wheat, yeasty, with a tart, Brett finish. Very tasty. sarro (134) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JUN 23, 2012
Drank under the DuBois alias 1-27-12. Pours a golden straw. Smell is Chardonnay, oak, and some acidity. Taste is very geuze-like with notes of apple cider, jp bambic and light fruits. Strong carbonation, but light and very drinkable. PhillyCraft (7584) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 8, 2012
On tap at Boilermaker for Mckenzie and Tired Hands event. Pours a cloudy yellow, small head and lacing. Aromas of peach, brett, horse blanket, tart citrus. Taste is much of the same with some hops coming through but mostly a funky, lactic, lemon tasting saison.

A little bit of everything going on here but it all plays together so perfectly. Acidity, slight funk, tart. The best saison I have ever had. hbmason (1086) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - FEB 20, 2012
