cloudy unfiltered brew, thought it was a bit dark for a saison. Seemed to have spices, coriander, grains of paradise(peppery?) added which I’m just not a fan of, but seemed to help this saison from when I tried it last. Body was good, Thought the spices overpowered hop bitterness too much. Overall, just a bit plain in taste, and I thought it was too sweet too. Shocked it won over Southhampton, which is one of the best. The GABF is just like football, "Any given Sunday"!!!
Sampled on draft at the Chadds Ford location this beer poured a bright yellow color with a large foamy white head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was faint citrus, almost perfume and a bit of yeast. The flavor was tart and lemony with hints of Windex, dust and yeast. Medium length finish. Medium body. Disappointing. Draft in Devon. Clear yellow color. Aroma of dusty lemon pepper. Taste is lightly funky straw and citrus. Decent. ganache (6029) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 8, 2014
Tap at CF. Golden, slow carbonation, light white head. Nose and taste classic DuPont, clean and lightly caking, cleansing and spicy, yeasty character, golden pils malt, slightly rustic (but that dies with volume). Lightly sweet with minimal bitterness. Light mint, more pepper and clove. Full body and a smile on my face, smooth, refreshing, exemplary (though I want to try the bugged version!). reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 27, 2014
Hazy honey/orange poured with a thick white head...heavy lacing and great retention. Aroma has a great balance between delicate fruit, spice, and bitterness. Flavor follows suit...very clean and excellent balance of delicate flavors. Mouthfeel is light and lively/silky with a dry earthy/rindy/peppery finish. One of my favorite local brews! Draft at RR. Pours pale yellow with minimal head and champagne like carbonation. Aroma is saison yeast, cereal, and some citrus. First sip is similar with farmhouse notes and biscuits. Finish is dry and clean.

Hazy golden rimming white head; aroma is rubbery; Flava is grainy slightly spicy and rubbery; feels medium and crisp; finishes dry Beerathon (1683) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 27, 2014
Yum. Just the right amount of tart, hops, and malt. Made for a solid saison. Definitely recommended. Jayb0 (1215) - Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA - DEC 29, 2013
Very nice, spicy, some wet hay, slight sourness, bready/yeasty, a thin but persistent head. Right on style. keepersj12 (3137) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - OCT 12, 2013
Nicely done. Pours amber with a small head. The aroma has some Belgium spice, fruit and bread. The flavor has a bit of sourness to it along with the Belgium spice and some fruit. ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - SEP 18, 2013
On tap at McKenzie’s ( Glen Mills). Pours a clear, pale golden yellow color with a two finger frothy white head that slowly settles. Slightly grassy, earthy aroma with a strong light fruit presence and subtle booze. Taste has hints of earthy, grassy hops and subtle barnyard funk followed by pepper and zesty citrus peel. Medium bodied but slightly fuller than expected with subtle funkiness and a strong spice presence that lingers over the sweeter notes into dry finish.
