On tap as English Brown Ale. Pours a dark reddish brown color with very little head. Lots of malt, messy and unitegrated with burnt caramel and some sweeter toffee notes with toasted biscuit behind. The taste is much of the same, a bit sugary in flavor and muddles the feel with a burnt flavor amongst the malts. Light body, over carbonated, prickly finish. j12601 (11162) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUN 14, 2011

Tap at McKenzie as English Brown Ale. Pours a clear amber with no head or lace. Sweet, syrupy nose. Taste is raw grainy and oatmeal heavy but not as focused and loveable as the Light Lager believe it or not. Finish is soapy and dry. blipp (9175) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUN 6, 2011

A bit underwhelming. Pours light brown from tap with a smidgen of head. Not a lot of aroma. If you really really focus you might get some element of maltiness. Finishes fairly clean.
