Draft at the brewpub, July 2006. A dark yellow beer with a rim of white head. The aroma is sweet grassy combined with some notes of citrus. The flavor is sweet malty with quite a lot of caramel, but also quite a lot of hops. Nice without being fantastic. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 28, 2005

A nice pale ale. Very hoppy, with a deep yellow color, and aromas of hops, citrus, and slight honey. Finishes smooth and sweeter than the first taste. Nice.
Poured an amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus fruits, toffee malts, and some fresh cut grass as well. Taste of some citrus fruits, light pine and caramel malt, with a medium bitterness in the finish. cheap (5965) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 22, 2008
On tap at the Melvern location. Ubiquitous pale yellow or just slightly darker than a typical pale yellow beer. Some floral hops can be detected by the olfactory. Tea froth head. taste is certainly hopped but not over the top. I thought the saison had more hops in it than this. As far as bitterness goes, a littla average on the taste buds. Wants to be an IPA but never quitte gets there. Finish is medium bitter clean hop linger. muzzlehatch (4969) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 13, 2004
Sample at the brewpub. Light amber, no head, sweet citrus nose. Smoky, herbal, hoppy flavors, good body. Not a lot to say I guess...palate fatigue setting in...another decent APA, sigh. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 8, 2004
Draught: An ok pale ale. Not hoppy enough to be called an APA. Poured with small creamy white head that did not last. Clear brown/orange/amber color. Smelled toasted. Floral, piney, citrusy hops. Light, earthy yeast. Also tasted of smoke and paper. Medium body but thin texture. Bitter finish. Dry. The 2nd best beer I had there.
