ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - FEB 17, 2010
On tap at brewpub. Pours a clear pale golden body with short, bubbly white head. Smell is mild biscuity malt aroma with some citrus hops. Toasted biscuity maltiness and a very grainy taste. Hops are primarily citrus, but only mildly pronounced. Has a slight burnt taste in the finish. Light to medium body with watery texture. Decent pale ale that’s worth a try.

Absolutely wonderful. Tastes much like an IPA with a nice amount of hops. Pours nicely with a half inch white head and the beer itself is darker (think Sam Adams Boston Lager). Taste and palate is beautiful.

Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 26, 2008
From draught at McKenzie Brew House II. This one has a nice hoppy aroma, with citrusy notes of grapefruit and some apricot. Sweet caramel malt but mostly nice hoppy character. Has a golden amber clear body with thin white lacing head on top. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Starts with pretty aggressive hoppy character, much more so that the Czech pilsener. Good malty character, too, with caramel. Hoppy throughout, with bitter finish. Fresh and grassy hops and is a nice hardy bitter ale.

[email protected] Malvern location. pours hazy gold with not too much head. aromas of floral citrus, mango, light barnyard. flavor is spicy and citrusy with a light malt back. finish is floral, pineapple, lemon. hoppy. long-lasting.

On tap at the Melvern location. Ubiquitous pale yellow or just slightly darker than a typical pale yellow beer. Some floral hops can be detected by the olfactory. Tea froth head. taste is certainly hopped but not over the top. I thought the saison had more hops in it than this. As far as bitterness goes, a littla average on the taste buds. Wants to be an IPA but never quitte gets there. Finish is medium bitter clean hop linger.

Orange/ Yellow in color with small head. Nice hoppy aroma. The taste was of floral hops. The finish was fruity. Really good beer.

the best of the bunch I had, besides bottles. nice citrus flavors, seems fairly well balanced, not bad. no head, from dirty glass sampler.

on tap-pours a white head that laces and gold color. Aroma is sweet medium malt-caramel, hops-citrus. Taste is sweet medium malt-caramel, hops-citrus. Medium body. OK carbonation.

Amber color with medium head. Crisp hoppy aroma with citrus and pine essence – taste starts out nice with grapefruit hop flavor, but the hops that grab you quickly let go. Kind of a letdown.

Ungstrup (38138) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - FEB 3, 2007
Draft at the brewpub, July 2006. A dark yellow beer with a rim of white head. The aroma is sweet grassy combined with some notes of citrus. The flavor is sweet malty with quite a lot of caramel, but also quite a lot of hops. Nice without being fantastic.
