McKenzie’s Green Apple Hard Cider has quite the kick. Maybe it’s the delicious crisp, slightly tart bite of green apples or the 6% alcohol.

Bottle graciously presented as a benchmark of humility by UDBeernut. I could not agree more with your rating. While there is a discernible difference from the normal cider, the green apple quickly descends to absurdity of super sugary grape juice blah. On the label it states,: "an American Tradition" I suppose this is true if you believe in sugar subsidies. I’m glad it wasn’t too hot out lately (-9) or I may have slipped into a diabetic coma. I am thankful that I did not have to play UNO as well. Its only fun when your 6 year old niece likes to try and cheat and take two turns at once...then its cute...but only then.

Great tasting, sweet green apple cider. Tastes like a fruity wine. Very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. bottle indicates 5% abv, not 6%. Palest golden and clear with a smattering of lasting bubbles. Pleasant nose of green apple. Flavor is spicy, slightly stale apple with a mild tartness. Light-plus body has medium-high fizz and a bit of a sweet slant.

12 oz bottle. Taste was okay, but really there is nothing here to distinguish this from any of the other average ciders out there.

12oz bottle. Clear yellow pour. Aroma is no surprise, green apple. Taste is not very tart, clean and refreshing. Not a complex or amazing cider but you could crush a bunch of these.

Apple aroma with a bit of sugar. Average pour, taste is sweet, sugar-y, but not too aggressive about it. Tartness mixed in really accentuates things. Sticky on the tongue, but remains refreshing throughout. A touch syrupy.

Simultaneously crisp and yet sweet. But not too sweet. Very refreshing. Could easily drink a lot of these. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with no visible carbonation. Nose is dry, acidic, and honeyed with a slight acetic element. Very clean on the tongue; mild and honeyed with good acid, not aggressively sour or candied. A little rough around the edges in a good way, not overly polished. Crisp finish. Nicely done.

Bottle, no head, clear yellow color, apple aroma and flavor, with some yeasty mineral hints, medium sweetness and a light sourness, could use just a little more, but still enough for an easy simple and satisfying cider that goes well with seafood.

355ml twist off bottle. Ubiquitous bin us mix 6 selection. It is not super sweetbut this is a crappy cider regardless.
