Bottle from dick vet bar. Pours clear gold. Nose of tropical fruit, apricot, pine resin. Taste is more fruit, orange, bitter finish. AshtonMcCobb (6501) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 8, 2017
Bottle from the Royal Dick.
Appearance - golden amber with a decent head.
Nose - sweet malt and faint citrus.
Taste - more of the same. Soggy cornflakes but not in a bad way.
Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish.
Overall - easy drinking ale. Not really complex but imagine it’d be great in the heat. kyzr (1527) - Montana, USA - SEP 22, 2016

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey, deep golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Floral, mildly herbal and slightly grassy, hoppy aroma, a touch of mint and woodruff. Taste is quite identical on a mellow caramel and biscuity malty basis; soft palate, gentle carbonation. A bit too well-behaved but with subtle qualities. Flanfl (801) - Lyon, FRANCE - DEC 10, 2015
Clear golden color, small white head. Aroma is fruity and yeasty. A tad piney. No complexity here and it feels muddled. Flavours are weak, fruity and yeasty, slightly hoppy. Some bitternerss that stays for the finish. A bit dry. Meh. zacgillbanks (5128) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - NOV 29, 2015
Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Hazy golden coloured with a sweet slightly herbal fruity flavour with malty notes and a smooth, creamy slight zesty finish. Subtle, but not bad.
