(Bottle) Clear golden. Lovely aroma - sweet, honey, floral some vanilla and butter notes. Medium body, slight hint of stickiness. Not too sweet, but clearly honey sweetness. Pleasant balancing acidity. Some complex notes - yeast and butter hints. Very pleasant mead. Borup (14461) - Albertslund, DENMARK - JAN 22, 2015
Bottle. Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of honey, fruit, herba and alcohol. Ungstrup (37561) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 10, 2015
Bottled. An amber mead. The aroma has notes of honey and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey and flowers, leading to a dry finish. hawthorne00 (3943) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAR 7, 2014
Bottle, 10C. Copper. Aroma of honey, nutmeg, cinnamon, oregano, vanilla, apples. Flat. Only slightly syrupy. Taste is sweet with prominent apples, lightish honey, lemon, vanilla, nutmeg, some cloves. Alcohol is hidden. Acidity is not all that obvious (to me - I know nothing about mead) but the sweetness doesn’t linger on the palate. Easily enjoyable enough to drink the rest but maybe not in one go.

Clear light to medium yellow orange colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy honey, spicy honey. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration, tart honey, spicy, honey. Body is medium, texture is syrupy, carbonation is flat.
Visual: Screw-top, cool font and label. Pours clear auburn with some large bubbles clinging to side of the glass.
Nose: Strong cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg and apple cider.
Attack: dense 8/10-sweet apple-spiced sugars, dessert wine viscosity
Mid-palate: red apple, cloves at the forefront, cinnamon, nutmeg, caramel
Finish: mild tartness, honey warmth, clean mellow sweet finish.
Wow this is an extremely easy-to-drink spiced mead. It must be the fact that the spices go so well with the mead that this hardly tastes like mead at at all. In fact this drinks more like mulled apple juice with alcohol hidden in the background. I can confidently say that I could polish off a bottle of this by myself any day of the week.
