American Style India Pale Ale
Vale/IPA is our interpretation of an american india pale ale. Using a combination of hops from three countries. This beer is designed with a balance of malt and hops giving a firm bitterness showing passionfruit, citrus and stone fruit characters derived from the hops.

Bottled version brewed at Laverton until the introduction of a bottling line to the Willunga Brewery.

Mild take on the style by any interpretation. Buzzy metal flavours and old skool hops show some early promise but soon fades away. Hard to see a compelling case.

Bottle from dick vet bar. Pours hazy amber. Nose of mandarin, spices. Taste falls a bit flat, not enough spiky citrus notes or spices. Not a lot going on.

Bottle at the Royal Dick. Appearance - deep amber to red. Thin head. Nose - light cake and citrus. Taste - burnt bread. Some tangy orange. Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a finish that could be fresher. Overall - total lack of bitterness.
