Bottle from the royal dick. Pours hazy lemon. Nose of wheatgrass, citrus, hay. Taste is dry, bitter, fruity, lemon zest. AshtonMcCobb (6497) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 8, 2017
Bottle at the Royal Dick.
Appearance - golden with a thin head.
Nose - light citrus and pale malt.
Taste - more of the same. Lemon barley water.
Palate - light bodied with a long dry lean body.
Overall - decent lager. CurlyJoe (226) - AUSTRALIA - DEC 13, 2016
Quite floral and aromatic for a lager. Cloudy yellow in colour with some thin white head. Tastes like what you expect with lager, then mellows with some fruitiness. Maybe mangoes or peaches. BrettC (13) - Flinders Chase, AUSTRALIA - OCT 31, 2016
Clear, golden color. A malty nose indicative of the primarily biscuity flavor but with a touch of sweet, possibly honey, taste. Finishes slightly bitter. Feels substantial on the tongue. zacgillbanks (5118) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2015
Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Pale straw coloured with a sweet toffee and malty flavour followed by gentle citrus on the finish. Pretty bland.

Bottle. Pours light yellow colour with a fluffy white head, light malt aroma, taste is light and fruity with a dry fluffy finish. DavidAust (273) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - MAY 3, 2015
Clean crisp lager with some additional hop flavour compared to the Australian Macro beers. Simple flavour, and easily drinkable. Nothing overly surprising, Very light straw colour, reasonable head which held well.
Was happy to have two pre dinner but changed to something a bit more robust with my meal.
OK, but would choose many other beers for the price (only purchased because the four pack was on a large discount). Unlikely to purchase again - simply on a value basis - it wasn’t that special to be charging a premium. Stew41 (2021) - Phuket, THAILAND - MAR 29, 2015
Very dry style although not of Asahi proportions. Looks very macro and the nose is slightly off-putting with a dry cardboard lift. Dry citrus in the mouth with again some cardboard creeping in. Not sure I really approve or agree. TedE (1299) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAR 12, 2015
330ml bottle into schooner glass. Distant hop nose, a little bread perhaps. Clear golden beer with solid white head. A few bubbles. Cleansing bitter taste. Finish is good. Early maltiness is overtaken by increasing hop bitterness then a floral hop note right at the end. I could drink another one of these right now. BWS bottle. Low carbonation & minimal head; little zing on the palate. Nothing striking with the aroma or taste; agree there is a residual sweetness and hint of after bitterness; however nothing grabs attention. Happy to drink if offered; won’t seek out though.
