COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
THIS IS OUR INTERPRETATION OF WHAT A NEW WORLD CRAFT LAGER SHOULD BE, APPROACHABLE, SESSIONABLE, BALANCED AND FLAVOURSOME. THIS BEER IS FILTERED FOR SMOOTH AND REFRESHING CRISPNESS WITH MEDUM CARBONATION. THE 100% MALTED GRAIN PROFILE IS A COMBINATION OF PILSNER, CARAPILS AND LIGHT MUNICH, WHILST THE HOP BILL INCLUDES THE NOBLE GERMAN HOP TETTNANG, AUSTRALIAN HELGA AND NZ PACIFICA. THE SWEET MALT CHARACTERS ARE BALANCED BY THE EARHTY SPICE AND FRESH CITRUS KICK AND FLORAL NOTES DERIVED FROM THE HOPS.

Bottled version brewed at Laverton until the introduction of a bottling line to the Willunga Brewery.

I created an account just to say how wrong pmuzz is. This beer is a Lager, not an Ale, its not supposed to have hops and malt smashing you in the face as you drink it. Its not a German Pilsner and its not supposed to be anything like the American style rice lagers like anything from CUB or Lion Nathan. It is actually a very well balanced Lager, with a good hop aroma and decent body. The finish is clean, crisp and refreshing. if youre looking for a beer thats not the same as the Brewing Giants flavourless rice beers, but still want a good refreshing beer that you can session on without it being grassy or sweet, then this very well balanced Lager is what youve been looking for. Probably the best Aussie lager i have had in years!

Rated for what it is, a Pale Lager. Description fits the end result. Hops are quite pleasant in aroma and and malts are bready with maybe a hint of vanilla back there. Fares more then good stacked up against others, say Boags or Cascade. Nicely crafted Pale Lager.

Clean crisp lager with some additional hop flavour compared to the Australian Macro beers. Simple flavour, and easily drinkable. Nothing overly surprising, Very light straw colour, reasonable head which held well. Was happy to have two pre dinner but changed to something a bit more robust with my meal. OK, but would choose many other beers for the price (only purchased because the four pack was on a large discount). Unlikely to purchase again - simply on a value basis - it wasnt that special to be charging a premium.

Clear, golden color. A malty nose indicative of the primarily biscuity flavor but with a touch of sweet, possibly honey, taste. Finishes slightly bitter. Feels substantial on the tongue.

Quite floral and aromatic for a lager. Cloudy yellow in colour with some thin white head. Tastes like what you expect with lager, then mellows with some fruitiness. Maybe mangoes or peaches.

Mild ale. Yellow see through colour with little carbonation. Sweet and watery. Nice enough.
