Aquilo (651) - Berkeley, California, USA - JUL 12, 2016
Cloudy golden color with some lace. Pine and grapefruit aroma. Flavor is bitter, but not as hair-raisingly bitter as most IPAs I’ve encountered recently. Very well balanced and drinkable.

Draft - Sweet pale malts. Cleanish gold with a decent white head. Up front bitterness and a sweet pale malt backbone. Average.

"a pretty tasty by-the-book copper colored american ipa. nothing that stands out, but it does everything a good IPA is supposed to do. another nice lingering bitter finish."

RedSox2004 (1895) - Pacific Palisades, California, USA - SEP 24, 2014
Golden amber with a slight haze, bright white head and nice lace. Modest citrus hop aromas. Flavor is a little bitter, a little malty, but not a lot of either. Medium body, lively carbonation, sticky mouthfeel and a clean finish. A bit of a disappointment.

maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JUL 4, 2014
Draught in a flight at the Mill Creek Brewpub. Pours a cloudy light brown color. Nose has some slightly bitter grass elements to it, but a lot of bread as well. Taste is bitter and earthy, and just not at all pleasant.

fiulijn (20516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 12, 2014
Draught at McMenamins Mill Creek, WA, 6.71% ABV
Cloudy colden color with persistent compact head. Easy version of IPA, with smooth mouthfeel, caramel/toffee flavor, hint of citrusy hops, dry final, and also some diacetyl.

Decent IPA on tap at the brewery in portland oregon, drank during a show which was awesome, hoppy, bitter, nice

kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 14, 2013
Tap. Pours a slightly hazy copper body with a thin film of white head. The nose is showing some citrusy hops, but the sweet crystal malt body wind out in the end. Fairly bitter and hoppy, but again, the crystal malt sweetness dominates on the finish. Another awful crystal malt forward IPA. Light to medium bodied with a slight stickiness on the finish. Overall, just not my kind of IPA. Keep the crystal malt away from my hoppy beers!

Deep gold, clear, off white head. Aroma of piney-citrusy hops. Flavor features a caramel sweetness, very light soapy note, piney-resiny hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at McMenamins in bend Oregon. Surprised this was rated so low, it’s an awesome ipa! Had several and loved it
