On tap at mill creek. Nice aroma of spice and hops. Great flavor too not too sweet but great maltiness. Finish is hops. Not bad at all. Best one I have had from them yet. Taverner (1100) - San Ramon, California, USA - DEC 23, 2009
On tap @ North Bank in Eugene. Pours brown with some head. Tastes a little earthy, but ultimately flavorless. 19Ei8hty (1166) - Washington, USA - NOV 23, 2009
Immense cereal grain backbone. Caramel highlights the chewy, grainy bread body. Earthy notes throughout with very light use of holiday spice. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - JAN 21, 2009
Pint – McMenamins Mill Creek – Mill Creek, WA – Nice hoppy flavor good brown color and malts where well balanced. This finishes dry and has a light earthy flavor. The spices where noticeable and not overwhelming this was a well brewed beer.

Fresh hop, cloudy brown. Slightly fruity malt body - apricot. Peaty note. Hoppy and spicy end. Full body. Decent. Travlr (24307) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - DEC 29, 2008
Clear amber with scant white head. Not much aroma. Big hops throughout, nice body and mouthfeel. Some spice, possibly coriander and orange peel. Bitter finish. Best brew of a disappointing session. WeeHeavySD (3387) - Portland, Oregon, USA - FEB 17, 2008
1/2/08 @ Old Saint Francis School in Bend, with Bikesandbeer and his Girlfriend Jesse. Lunch before driving to Sacramento via Mt. Shasta. 7th Brewery of the trip. Pours cloudy orange with a bright white ring. Nose is spiced. Taste is sweet and overall interesting. boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 5, 2008
Tap... Poured a dark ruby with a thin head. Spicy malt aroma. Pretty mellow palate, pretty good combination of hops, malt and all the Christmas-sy spices that are in there, which makes you warm right up. You can really taste the Ginger and the alcohol is very subtle but it adds to that warmth. I’d have to say, this is more
impressive than I thought. Angeloregon (2055) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 26, 2007
Pint at McMenamins St. Francis School in Bend--Poured a deep hazy copper-amber with a wispy white head. Glowing very, nice looking brew. Mildly spicy with some cinnamon and perhaps nutmeg in there. Creamy mouth feel with some sweet notes, and more spice in the finish. Had that typical McMenamins finish that I didn’t care for. Pretty sessionable for a winter beer. Ok.
