This naturally carbonated beer is one of the only fruit beers I’ve ever found to be worth drinking. The flavor is refreshing, and while the raspberries are evident, so are the hops. This beer is a clouded tawney, pinkish hue, and is best served "medium cold", right between ice cold, and cellar temperature. The low carbonation level of this beer makes it an ideal competition grade speed chugging beer.

This beer does a fantastic job of blending the strong flavor of rasberry while still tasting like a good ale. This one’s a sure thing

Usually have this at North Bank McMenamins. This one pours a cloudy, light pink color. Almost looks like grapefruit juice but tastes much better. Raspberry flavoring is subtle and smooth. Always have a pint of this when we are at McMenamins.

Excellent summer beer. Just the right amount of fruitiness with the wheat earthiness. Very drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled this one on draught at McMenamins Edgefield, in Troutdale, OR. This is the first time I had tried Ruby since 1999, and I have forgotten what a well done fruit beer Ruby really is. This beer pours to a slightly hazy, light ruby red color, with a soapy white head, and a moderate carbonation. The nose on this beer is wonderful, with tart and sweet aromas of raspberry. The palate is lean, with some crisp, light pale malt flavor, paired with wonderful tart and sweet raspberry flavors. This beer finishes crisp, and then ends with tart raspberry flavopr that lingers. Very well done fruit beer with excellent raspberry aromas and flavors. An ideal aperitif, digestif, or desert beer. I really enjoyed trying this one again.
