One of my all time favorite beers. Pours a lovely red color. fruit in the aroma. slightly tart with big raspberry taste. Lubiere (13915) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 18, 2009
A pink grapefruit coloured ale with a thin white head. A faint raspberry pop aroma, with cotton candy sweetness. In mouth, a light sweetish raspberry pop, very light and watery, light sour points, uninteresting. On tap at Six Arms, Seattle, Sept. 12 2009. dwyerpg (6187) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - OCT 3, 2009
Smells more like sour funk than raspberries with some wheat as well. This is pretty wheaty with some sweetness to it but not too much raspberry. Not that good. bitbucket (2165) - Kirkland, Washington, USA - SEP 19, 2009
Sampled as Dad Watsons Ruby at Fremont Oktoberfest. Pours cloudy, the color of pink grapefruit juice. Light aroma of raspberry soda. Light body and carbonation, almost nothing in the taste. Dry finish. Effin near water.

Aroma of fresh juicy raspberries. Appearance is not unlike a glass of pink grapefruit juice - cloudy and pink. Flavor is very thin - somewhat watery - slight raspberry flavor with a faint bitter finish. Tight carbonation. A very refreshing summer beverage, certainly not a hearty drink. 19Ei8hty (1166) - Washington, USA - AUG 18, 2009
Looks like a glass of grapefruit juice. Ruby, cloudy body. Wheat cereal malt with strong raspberry tartness. Dry and rather unappealing. risingsunzpr (8) - Oregon, USA - JUN 10, 2009 does not count
I am quite fond of Mcmenamins brew this ruby ale with some monstrous rasberry flavor did however dissapoint. I have had several reasberry brews and did not care for most, this was no exception. Mcmenamins does beer far better than the impression this brew leaves. Rasberry leaves that is, I suggest you all leave this one alone and grab a Terminator. josephselander (42) - Salem, Oregon, USA - MAY 26, 2009
Appearance – Pours a hazy pinkish orange color, a very light orange. This looks like grapefruit juice, a very appetizing grapefruit juice. A clean white 1 and a half finger head subsides on the slower side of fast and leaves no lacing.
Smell – This smells very fruity and wheaty. Tart raspberries dominate the smell with the wheat and slight hops taking up the rear.
Taste – Raspberries and wheat, just like the smell. The aftertaste of raspberries is very sweet like a jolly rancher, absolutely delicious right now!
Mouthfeel – A little low on the carbonation for the style, which hurts this beer a little. It is nice and light though, perfect for the summetime.
Drinkability – This is a damn good fruit infused wheat beer, and I would be plenty happy to have pint after pint of this beer. It isn’t the best representation out there, but it serves its purpose well. gracefullypunk (667) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 19, 2009
On tap at Eugene’s North Bend location. Grapefruit colored with very little head. Aroma of raspberries and sugar. It mostly tastes like grapefruit flavored sparkling water. Dry finish. Fairly weak on the palate.
