1/2/08 @ Old Saint Francis School in Bend, with Bikesandbeer and his Girlfriend Jesse. Lunch before driving to Sacramento via Mt. Shasta. 7th Brewery of the trip. Pours yellow with a half finger tan head. Nose is nice and razzy. Taste is razzy and sweet, interesting but quite thin. awaisanen (1304) - Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 19, 2008
From a 22oz Bottle. Purchased at the Kennedy School, 7/7/07. Pours a somewhat hazy, pale gold color with peach hues and a thin layer of quickly dissipating, wispy white head. A big raspberry juice nose leaps out of the glass right away, but as it warms, it starts to fade, revealing a grainy malt base. Some apple yeast character noticeable. Light bodied, softly carbonated mouthfeel with a gentle effervescence. Crisp, authentic raspberry flavors up front on the palate, but could use more intensity. This tastes like a raspberry Berliner Weiss sans the lactic acid. As such, the palate falls off quickly, leaving a light graininess to linger on the tongue. Brewhambone (5) - eugene, Oregon, USA - DEC 9, 2007 does not count
Usually have this at North Bank McMenamins. This one pours a cloudy, light pink color. Almost looks like grapefruit juice but tastes much better. Raspberry flavoring is subtle and smooth. Always have a pint of this when we are at McMenamins. BuckeyeBoy (7719) - Boise, Idaho, USA - NOV 19, 2007
On tap at Pub Portland OR. Pours out a amber topped with a white head. A little berry on this one. along with some wheat and light malt.

Wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Tap poured a light, light red hue with a thin head. Enjoyable berry flavor that isn’t over done and doesn’t lose sight of its hop balance. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - NOV 13, 2007
Centralia/Olympic Club WA-on tap-pours an off white head and copper color. (the place was really dark) Aroma is faint raspberry, fruit. Taste is raspberry/fruit, seltzer, musty wheat. TheBeerLover (1027) - DC Metro Area, USA - NOV 5, 2007
Sampled this one on draught at McMenamins Edgefield, in Troutdale, OR. This is the first time I had tried Ruby since 1999, and I have forgotten what a well done fruit beer Ruby really is. This beer pours to a slightly hazy, light ruby red color, with a soapy white head, and a moderate carbonation. The nose on this beer is wonderful, with tart and sweet aromas of raspberry. The palate is lean, with some crisp, light pale malt flavor, paired with wonderful tart and sweet raspberry flavors. This beer finishes crisp, and then ends with tart raspberry flavopr that lingers. Very well done fruit beer with excellent raspberry aromas and flavors. An ideal aperitif, digestif, or desert beer. I really enjoyed trying this one again. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - OCT 3, 2007
Cloudy yellowish with slight red hue. Wheaty aroma with raspberry essence. Flavor is more of the same. Raspberries taste natural. Tart and wheaty. A nice fruit beer pelicanfleck (15) - Oregon, USA - SEP 13, 2007
I live about 1 mile from where this brew is crafted. It is a brew that is made with rassberries involved. It is a great all around fruit brew and here is my review:
Appearance: The appearance is a beer that is "silty" and unfiltered. It has a slight ruby hue to it and caps off nicely with a finger width head.
Smell: Fruity, that of rassberries and hops
Taste: The taste is crisp and refreshing. The rassberries don not over take the beers natural hoppieness. Very flavorfull
Mouthfeel: The carbonation in this brew is low so that you can really guzzle it down with no carb-burn. Good taste with very little aftertaste.
Drinkability: This is a brew that I would drink again. I would rather order it in the bottle to go though, I will explain upon reviewing the joint.
