Bottle 750ml. @ cgarvieuk [ Lets do a chrisO Tasting ], Edinburgh, Scotland.
[ As McMenamins Ruby ].
Clear medium amber yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, vegetables, light caramel, floral fruit - berry. Flavour is moderate sweet with a long duration, vegetables, sweet fruit - malt - sugar (asume that is the raspberries). Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
From tap at the Seattle brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and slight citric aroma. Smooth fruity, peachy and mild citric. Smooth and fruity flavoured finish. Ungstrup (37581) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 4, 2008
Draft at the Crystal Ball Room location. A hazy pinkish beer with no head. The aroma is sweet and dominated by raspberries. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of raspberries - somewhat artificial combined with notes of malt and wheat, leading to a dry finish. The body is thin. Not to my liking. anders37 (26625) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JAN 23, 2007
Draught @ Lighthouse Brewpub, Lincoln City, OR. June 2005. Pours a slightly hazy orange/amber colour with a small white head. Fruity aroma with lots of raspberries. Sweet malty and thin flavor with hints of raspberry. Fruity finish. omhper (25114) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 20, 2006
Draught at White Eagle, Portland. Hazy reddish amber. Light raspberry aroma. Medium sweet with clean mouthfeel and light body. A decent, drinkable fruity beer that however does not have a lot of interesting things going on.

Draught at McMenamins Mill Creek, WA, 4.39% ABVharrisoni (18578) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - NOV 4, 2006
Muddy pinkish color with generous compact head. Light aroma of raspberries. Smooth mouthfeel, a bit weak; watery flavor, with hints of raspberries; very low bitterness.
On tap at The Ram Hotel, Portland. Cloudy copper with thin off white head. Smell of raspberry. This is awful. Fruit isn’t integrated, no malt, empty and rather pathetic. Raspberry syrup runs through it. Nasty Oakes (17668) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 9, 2001
Red colour, impressive berry nose and palate. Light, easy-drinking. The use of fresh fruit (not extract) is quite noticeable, and makes this a rare fruit beer worth drinking. TBone (17530) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 13, 2011
Crystal Ballroom, Portland
Hazy rasberry red color, small pinky head. Rasberry jam and stones aroma. Light bodied. Semidry flavor of rasberries. Nice refreshing rasberry beer.
