RBSG 2004, on tap: Murky grapefruit colored. Big sweet raspberry aroma, starts and ends lightly sweet with an acidic ending. Both watery and fizzy.

Not terrible, but refreshing, a good spring time beer. At least it is balanced and you can taste the fruit, and it is really showcased in this one. Just a little crisp and tart in the finish.

Tap @ Blue Moon in Portland. A cloudy wheat looking beer. A strong red raspberry aroma and flavor. Tart and dry.

Apricot nose, hazy khaki color. Sweet malt and raspberry taste, no bitter to counter the sweetness. Sopay mouthfeel. Actually OK an OK beer for what is intended but I dont like what was intenden.

Cloudy orange body. Aroma is loaded with raspberry with lesser notes of hops and bread. Sweet fruity raspberry finish. Probably one of the better fruit beers Ive had. Avoids the cherry soda like flavors of some of the Sam Adams brews.

A fruit beer, but you would never know. I tasted a lot of Wheat (which is probably not correct).

Pours a one finger white head that fades quickly leaving no lace. Clear pink/amber color. Very light carbonation and light bodied. Raspberry nose. Starts sweet, clean raspberry flavor, some tartness at finish, good summer beer. $4.25 for a 22oz bottle from the brewery in Troutdale, Or.

Looks like grapefruit, cloudy pink, plenty of nose, crispy, berries/citrus in the light body, nice effervescence, semi-dry.

picked up this in the 22oz bomber on the way home tonight. I have never had the Ruby before so not sure at all of the correct style. The beer has a really nice look to it a slightly hazy ..almost luminescent orangy colour..odd to describe but its impressive..extremely small head which dissapears real quick leaving a slight lace down the glass. The smell of the beer is very fruity..almost raspberry..with some nice malt and only a trace of hop near the end . Its good though. Feels very nice on the tongue good carbonation and not too dry..nice. This is a most drinkable brew indeed..I could easilly quaff many pints of this little beauty on a summers day!
