A nice fruit beer. Heaps of raspberries. Clean and refreshing. Could guzzle it like water. Definitely not your typical beer, but a nice change of pace nonetheless.

A good raspberry flavor to this one. Very light, pinkish in color -- great warm day brew.

Light pink, strawberries and wheat, semi-tart flavor, some biting yeast flavors. Peppy, better than the average fruity beer... the tartness being the main reason.

Pours a one finger white head that fades quickly leaving no lace. Clear pink/amber color. Very light carbonation and light bodied. Raspberry nose. Starts sweet, clean raspberry flavor, some tartness at finish, good summer beer. $4.25 for a 22oz bottle from the brewery in Troutdale, Or.

Cloudy yellowish with slight red hue. Wheaty aroma with raspberry essence. Flavor is more of the same. Raspberries taste natural. Tart and wheaty. A nice fruit beer

I have to admit that there is nothing better on a hot, sunny day than drinking a tart, refreshing Ruby. It’s never sweet, perfect balance of wheat and raspberry create a thirst quenching tart little beer worthy of drinking. Living in Los Angeles means I rarely get to enjoy this beer anymore, but whenever I go back to Portland, I always have to have it.

One of my favorites from the lineup, smooth, light and drinkable. Nice full body, similar to German Hefe , slick and smooth. Sweet juice essence makes it refreshing.

Bottle at Craig’s. Sweet raspberry on nose, light toffee, tart, fruity, not bad!

On tap @ McMenamins Barley Mill. Hazed orange-pink-red pour with a creamy white head. Bready malt mixed with slightly tangy berry. Dehydrated raspberry and some pretty decent cereal notes. The flavor is kind of tangy and also a bit sweet. Maybe some vanilla and bread dough. A little soda-like. Pretty nice.
