Pours a one finger white head that fades quickly leaving no lace. Clear pink/amber color. Very light carbonation and light bodied. Raspberry nose. Starts sweet, clean raspberry flavor, some tartness at finish, good summer beer. $4.25 for a 22oz bottle from the brewery in Troutdale, Or. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - OCT 3, 2007
Cloudy yellowish with slight red hue. Wheaty aroma with raspberry essence. Flavor is more of the same. Raspberries taste natural. Tart and wheaty. A nice fruit beer StephLJensen (15) - California, USA - FEB 7, 2012
I have to admit that there is nothing better on a hot, sunny day than drinking a tart, refreshing Ruby. It’s never sweet, perfect balance of wheat and raspberry create a thirst quenching tart little beer worthy of drinking. Living in Los Angeles means I rarely get to enjoy this beer anymore, but whenever I go back to Portland, I always have to have it. stevoj (5043) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAY 20, 2014
One of my favorites from the lineup, smooth, light and drinkable. Nice full body, similar to German Hefe , slick and smooth. Sweet juice essence makes it refreshing. Stuu666 (13425) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 5, 2014
Bottle at Craig’s. Sweet raspberry on nose, light toffee, tart, fruity, not bad!

On tap @ McMenamins Barley Mill. Hazed orange-pink-red pour with a creamy white head. Bready malt mixed with slightly tangy berry. Dehydrated raspberry and some pretty decent cereal notes. The flavor is kind of tangy and also a bit sweet. Maybe some vanilla and bread dough. A little soda-like. Pretty nice. FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 2, 2010
Portland trip. Sampled on draft this beer poured a cloudy golden color with just a faint red tinge. The flavor was light sweet raspberry. The flavor was sweet raspberry with a light bready undertone. Medium finish and body. Nice. kitschy (326) - Nebraska, USA - FEB 5, 2010
Looks like pink champagne or ruby red grapefruit juice. Light raspberry smell, with a fun palate. Refreshing. A better raspberry than most. Hophazard (193) - San Francisco, California, USA - MAR 7, 2011
Sweet and sour grapefruit aroma. A hazy ruby color with light white head. A tart flavor of raspberries - malt is faint and hops are absent. Light, thin bodied and refreshing. Would be great on a hot day. slowrunner77 (12044) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 5, 2014
UPDATED: APR 15, 2016 "an interesting light fruity beer with some earthy hops and just a touch of tartness. raspberry is the main fruit component, and they do it justice here. pretty standard beers for the most part, but this one was cool."
