Light honey colored, cloudy, looks like a weiss beer. Aroma is raspberry, sweet, hints of yeast. Flavor is pretty sweet. Nice summer beer, one that a think alot of none beer drinkers would enjoy.

Pink with a pinkish head, very raspberry and maybe a little lemon citrus. Finish is short.

A fruit beer, but you would never know. I tasted a lot of Wheat (which is probably not correct).

On tap at the Hillsboro location..wait do they have more than one in Hillsboro? Anyway, pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A light fruity nose, some earthy malt. The flavor is basically similar: light and clear berries, earthy dry malt, some light crispness. OK.

Not bad, but nothing really great. The fruit flavoring is pretty evident, and the alcohol is nonexistent. Id much rather have a Hammerhead.

Not bad for a fruit beer, key words being for a fruit beer. Awfully sweet. Someone told me this was good mixed with their terminator stout, but why ruin a perfectly good terminator stout?

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2004 I can get this on tap at about 10 different places within walking distance of my house in Portland. Ruby is a great summer beer: nice and easy-drinking, pleasantly fruity with a great wheat flavor and character. Its light and smooth on the palate, yet finishes with a delicious flourish. This is a great one to have on the way back home from work.

Draft at Roseburg Station; Nose of very fresh raspberries and wheat; murky pink with a medium pink head; flavor is raspberry and very light hop notes, but not too sweet. Refreashing since it’s 90F today!

Sample at Thompson Brewery and Public House in Salem. The beer is a cloudy pinkish-orange color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of raspberries and malt. Light clean body with flavors of fresh raspberries, sweet malt and a bit of wheat. The finish is fruity and does not linger very long. Just average overall.
