The smell is a strong roasted malt.
Taste is roasted malt and burnt coffee. A bit bold and one sided.
Fizzy texture but only moderate carbonation with medium body.
Overall it’s nice, but bold flavor profile.

A: Very black with a thin creme head.
N: Char, roast, big malt profile with tones of chocolate, vanilla, and some nuttiness. Light earth.
T: Substantial sweetness with a light balancing bitterness.
M: Medium body, creamy carb, light alcohol.

Draft pour pint at the McMenamins Crystal Ballroom. O.A.R! O.A.R! O.A.R! Traveling around to see their tour has the fortunate consolation of trying new beers in each city. Brewery owned music venues will hopefully catch on quick. Pours black with a thick tan foam head. Roasted malt aroma. Matching flavor with a rich chocolate finish. Not bad at all. Had myself a brew, relax for a delicate few.
