Bottle. Pours muddy amber orange with off white head. Nose/taste of citrus rind, caramel malt, earth and ripe fruit. Medium body. Finishes a bit grainy with some bitter overripe fruit. Very malt forward - a bit too malty/grainy. pushkinwow (2789) - Ottawa, CANADA - OCT 10, 2012
On tap at the 20th Vermont Brewers Festival. Amber with an off white head. Grains, lemon and grapefruit hops, bit of resin, caramel, earthy. Moderate carbonation, mild body, bitter with a hint of malt sweetness. GandGKevin (934) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - OCT 2, 2012
Bomber. Subtle citrus aromas. Lemon and Orange flavors. Overall a pretty good IPA. Travlr (24756) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 27, 2012
Draft. Hazy golden color, thick white heaf. Aroma of grass and light pine. Taste is citrus, pine. Decent. bookman10 (1121) - Osseo, Minnesota, USA - APR 25, 2012
Had a weird, almost smoky flavor that sort of killed my interest. Yes, there are the hop notes and citrus flavors, but they’re drowned out by this overpowering flavor of burnt grain. Don’t know if I got hold of a bad bottle or what,, but this isn’t the best IPA.

Draught at Barcade, Brooklyn. Cloudy red/amber - offwhite head. Red berries. Medium hoppy. Ok fruity. Nice malty. Caramel. Wheaty notes. Amber malts. A bit plain. Jenafly75 (10) - Sea Bright, New Jersey, USA - JAN 26, 2012
Gotta Love this lable! YEs the beer inside of it is outstanding! jlanning215 (363) - Peoria, Illinois, USA - JAN 19, 2012
I was lucky enough to be at the brewpub and get to have some of their awesome brews. Bought this one at the food coop down the road and it definitely fell short of the other brews i had. I was flat and uninteresting. You could tell it was trying to support some good hoppy quality but just fell off. Finished slightly watery. Tonkun (1296) - New Jersey, USA - DEC 30, 2011
Bottle. Copper pour with thick off white head. Sweet, floral, bread, cake, herb. Too sweet for me on the nose. Some bitterness at the end but not enough to balance the sweetness. One dimensional. More depth would be much nicer. Hard to finish the whole bottle... MarkBarnes (418) - Waterville, New York, USA - DEC 3, 2011
Dec. 3, 2011; 22 oz. bomber. Well-carbonated, malty, sudsy IPA with a slightly-out-of-control pour. Bready; grassy; a bit sticky. Superior palate & great balance that lets the malt come through. Quite enjoyable.
