I’ve had two bombers of this over the past week, both of which were quite different, and neither of which were that good, so I’m not sure what to think of this beer - both bottles were cloudy amber - both had a rather indistinct malty aroma, with some light hints of nuts, and a lot of earthy qualities (seems to be the norm with this brewer) - one bottle had a fairly nutty, caramel flavor, with subdued hop profile, and some bready english maltiness - another was rather plastic-like, lacking the strong malt components - both were a tad vegetal - neither were much like an old ale - I guess it’s hit or miss with these guys, all the way down to which bottle you choose. bager (2120) - Copenhagen N, DENMARK - APR 23, 2007
Bottled. Hazy dark amber coloured with a medium sized tan head. Great aroma - poor flavour. Doesnt fit together at all. ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 4, 2007
Cloudy deep amber colour with a tan head. Malty, caramel sweet aroma with notes of fruit and alcohol. Malty, strange acidic flavor with notes of vegetable. Light dry and sour finish. madsberg (11798) - Søborg, DENMARK - APR 1, 2007
Bottled. Beer no. 7 @ American Blind III. Amber coloured. Unclear. Light brown head. Sweetness, brown sugar, fruits in the aroma. Seems to be light infected. Light sour and fruit flavour. Is thin bodied. Dry. Ends on dry earthy note. Not too inspired beer.

Blind rating at sk8viking´s. Pours a hazy dark amber with nice lacings. Tastes earthy and sourish. Infected? Medium to full bodied. Short, slightly dry finish. Ungstrup (38867) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 25, 2007
Bottled. An unclear brown beer with a thin bubbly orange head. The aroma is sweet with notes of chocolate, citrus, and hops. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of citrus, but also hops. I find the body a bit thin - inspite of the 9% ABV - lack of residual sugar? hopdog (13191) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 3, 2007
22oz bottle. Poured a medium and cloudy amberish / brown color with an averaged sized off white head. Lots of smaller floaters. Aromas of caramel, brown sugar, yeast, toffee, and somewhat earthy. Also reminded me of those root beer candies. Tastes of earth, caramel, toffee, and dark fruits (plums and raisins). Lively body.
