Bottle at Delirium Café. Pours very dark ruddy copper with a slight beige head. Aroma seems both scotch whiskey smoke and chocolate. Med body. Flavor is mild scotch whiskey smoke and lots and lots of chocolate. Amazingly smooth. And weird. Drinks damn well tho. KyotoLefty (10311) - Kyoto, JAPAN - SEP 24, 2011
Bottle. Clear, deep amber with lace. Fruity nose with citrus and malt, grainy. Malty flavor, caramel, just a bit smoky with peat. Fruity and spicy from the yeast, and rather dry. Light but full and very drinkable. Only a mild “whiskey” malt taste, but the sweetness is light and balance good.

Bottle. pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma of peachy hops, caramel, malt and spicy yeast.Flavor is sweet and malty with some bread and yeast notes.Medium body, average carbonation. Nice Belgian, but where is the smoke ? yngwie (17078) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 1, 2011
Bottle. It’s a clear, dark golden to copper beer topped by a creamy, two-finger, off-white to light beige head. Fruity, peachy and sugary nose, like any Belgian blonde. Peachy and lightly sugary flavor with a decent bitterness. Grassy and spiced with some pear hints. Medium body, smooth. Bitterness and fruityness in the end. A quite decent one, didn’t find any smoke as some other raters did. 111001 massingasetta (744) - München, GERMANY - JUN 7, 2014
Beer brewed with Whisky Malt - interesting to say the least. Somewhat difficult to evaluate as it is a different from what I have had in recent times. The aroma and appearance is appetizing, the taste is not fully round but sweet and almost ale-like qualities. Thoughts come up of drinking Mead in a rural pub. Bottle courtesy of yespr, thanks! Clear amber color, tan head. Aroma of caramel. Taste is bitter butterscotch. I didn’t realize it was a smoke beer until I saw that in the title here. saxo (18902) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - OCT 3, 2011
