Bought a sixer at 7-11 after the storm. Kind of a hoppy amber ale. Not much to say. Drinkable.
On Tap at McSorleys, NYC. 12.5.16. As McSorleys Light. Clear gold with a white head. Light malty aroma with biscuity notes. Soft biscuit and grassy bitterness in the mouth. Light body, soft bitter-toasty finish. alexsdad06 (10268) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 5, 2016
Bottle sample from backlog notes. Pours a slightly hazy dark golden/light amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have toasted malts, light caramel, earthy hops, doughy malt, light herbal notes, just not much to get excited about. FunkyF (1171) - Örebro, SWEDEN - NOV 13, 2015
Fat på McSorleys nyc. Brungul lite grumlig färg. Klassiskt maltig ale utan krusiduller. TychoJames (1283) - Örebro, SWEDEN - NOV 7, 2015
Fat påmcsorleys, nyc. Guldfärgad, lätt grumlig vätska med vitt skum. Brödig doft med aningen fruktsyra.
I smak känns säd, ljust bröd och lite äpple. Låg kolsyremängd Niko100 (2891) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 2, 2015

Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance – Pours a clear copper color with a one finger white head. The head fades relatively fast to leave a lighter level of lacing.
Smell – The aroma is heaviest of a bready and caramel smell with some lighter citrus and pine.
Taste – The flavor starts out of a malty taste with a good caramel backbone. As the taste moves on some of the citrus and pine hop flavors come to the tongue. They are rather light in nature but balance some of the sweet and malt quite well. In the end, some of the sweet fades and leaves a crisper flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the average side with a carbonation level that is average as well. Decent of the style and makes it rather drinkable.
Overall – A decently tasty and quite easy to drink brew. While not the best it is quite drinkable.

The body has a deep golden amber color with a small one finger thick head on top. The head is very light and soapy. It fades out quickly and makes no lacing at all. There is a light sweetness with a touch of light roasted malt and grain. There are some light hop notes too which add light herbal and metallic notes. Its flavor pretty much walks the same line as its aroma. Mildly sweet grainy malt hooks up with herbal/metallic hop bitterness for balance. It finishes with some of the odd tangy metallic hop notes hanging on to the tongue. Its light to medium bodied with light carbonation and a boring feel.

Reviewed from notes.
This was always poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-decent looking pale golden amber color with a decent half finger-ed white foamy head that barely lasted for twenty seconds. Lacing, uh...what lacing, there wasn’t any.
The smell, well, it had that soapy/British malts that doesn’t bother me like it does most people, fuggles (earthy) hops.
The taste was semi-sweet through the British malts.
The palate sat about a light to medium and tried to show somewhat of decent sessionability but I found myself really only having about one in a time period. Carbonation seemed fairly clean and crisp and slightly smooth.
Overall, uh...for the most part, just another regular English Pale Ale that doesn’t excite but still shows its worth if one happens to put this with some fish n’ chips. mfp13jr (152) - Glenville, New York, USA - MAY 23, 2014
Standard bulk brew ale. Nothing special, but still better than the big three offerings. jinroh (1524) - ESTONIA - MAR 25, 2014
355 ml bottle, paid only 178 yen for this one @ Jiyugaoka Garden. Pours dark amber, a bit hazy with a nice foam top - that is gone in minutes. Aroma is nice and fruity, melon. First sip reveals quite high carbonation that this beer has, along with a nice bitter aftertaste. Good session beer.
