Copper color, stale malty taste that jumps out at you. No hops seem present to balance it. VENOM (941) - Connecticut, USA - DEC 16, 2002
Clear dark gold. Thin, dense white foam. Slight carbonation. Weak, mushy malt aroma, sweet hints. Bland, artificially sweet and loaded with wet paper notes. Medium light body. Not very crisp or clean for a Lager. Oppressively falsified flavors. Mild bitterness. Zero hop aroma and flavor. Finishes sticky and just...oh why bother. Totally vapid. beaconstreet (811) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 22, 2006
Applely overtures in taste. Can I use a word like overture in McSorely’s? Sure I can. On draft. Delicious beer you can bite. Yankovitch333 (612) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAR 18, 2003
Nice amber color with no head. Aroma is faint. Taste is average. There really isn't much to say. Good party beer. graham515 (537) - Houston, Texas, USA - AUG 9, 2008
Pours straw gold into the glass with a nice white head. Aroma is sweet and corny. Taste is much the asme with plenty of sweet and not enough bitterness to counter.

dark amber color. quickly dissapating head. slightly better than your avg lager but still pretty weak. kreepindeth (404) - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA - MAY 9, 2007
It’s hard not to be biased when the pub this is served in is so delightful. Pretty decent for a pale lager. Thin, but a a bit more estery and hoppy than your typical pale lager. Not overly carbonated and biting. beastdog75 (364) - Brick, New Jersey, USA - MAR 3, 2003
Has a very nice dark gold color, but this beer is terribly average in all other departments. On the watery side. Malt and hops are downplayed here in favor of the chuggability factor. wingman333 (333) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - JUL 6, 2007
Bottle...glad I tried it but it was a little watery for my taste. Good when compared with the mainstream beers, like Bud, and Coors. Grandpa (327) - Verona, New York, USA - JUN 5, 2007
On draft at the NYC Ale house. Good malt flavor, nicely hopped with a lingering aftertaste. I liked it, but perhaps my rating gained a few points from the environment. A great two hour experience, at a must go-to-place for any social beer drinker.
