UPDATED: JUL 3, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Comes as "Sainsbury’s Vienna Style Amber Lager" at 5,0% ABV. Beautiful dark amber-colour with some red thrown in. Clear and filtered without much head. Very soft with a sweetish malt-character. Caramel and nuts in there too. Not much bitterness. Close to perfect for it’s type. 200405

Really nice appearance. Aroma is nutty with the citrusy/grassy hops balancing well. Taste is similar with a good chewyness too it. Could session for about 10 weeks. nigos (631) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2003
Malty nose. Copper hue, white head. Highly hopped flavour similar to IPA. Decent beer. haddonsman (1234) - Derby, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - AUG 1, 2004
Bottled for Sainsbury’s. Deep amber body, frothy yet short lived head, dry biscuity aroma, crunchy malts with a little hop biting through. Rather refreshing, another decent offering from Meantime who should be applauded (along with Sainsbury’s) for trying to introduce such a variety of styles into the UK market. Bottle. Orange head. Clear dark red body. Aroma of oranges and hops. Smooth mouthfeel and hops dominated flavor, however also caramel and oranges. ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 25, 2006
Light hazy deep amber colour with a small tan head. Sweet malty aroma with an orange fruityness and notes of hops. Hoppy bitter flavor with a faint caramel sweetness and a light dry finish.
