Warning! Early amateur rating! Deep brown beer. Very mild and smooth. Late swell of worcester sauce tang. Very light palate - bordering on watery. Refreshing.
Bottle. fairly sweet, with a flat, slightly dull mouthfeel. Nutty malt characters, with brown sugar and caramel, on the thin side body/flavourwise. Slightly stale mouthfeel. cgarvieuk (24515) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 22, 2007
Light brown, with a light malt hop nose, light lager hint with a touch more malt to it. ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 19, 2008
Bottled. Pours out in a clear amber colour with a low white foam. Caramel, mild flowers, sweat and apricots. Medium to light-bodied with notes of caramel, brown sugar, toasted malts and mild flowers. Low hoppiness. Toasted grains, caramel, sweet oranges, flowers and brown sugar in malty but short finish. Not sure what it’s supposed to be but i’s to sweet for me. UPDATED: APR 16, 2003 Attractive bottle bought at the Greenwich Union pub. At only 330ml but with a £2.90 price tag, this is an expensive purchase for a delicate and tasty, but rather unimpressive lager. Darjeeling colour with light, frothy, fast vanishing head. Slight biscuit aroma. Low carbonation, quickly becoming quite flat. An iron bite with mild sweetness finishing in a nice, clean bitterness. Delicate, but dull. Added comment: The finish went on for ever. A long, soft and quite delicious hoppy bitterness that stayed with me for the rest of the evening. Lovely! I'm upping the points a bit. I wish there was a mark for Finish.

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2005 Bottled at the Chris_O Beer, Cheese and Curry powwow. A mid brown coloured beer with no head. The aroma is sweet and toasty with the vienna malts coming through. The taste is sweet and a little tinny. Also slightly nutty but not overly pleasant. bager (2120) - Copenhagen N, DENMARK - JUN 11, 2006
Bottle. Amber coloured with a small head. Sweet and malty with a sligt hoppyness. Kinda mild thouogh. tiggmtl (4545) - East York, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 19, 2006
Floral hops with some orange citrus notes balance against tired toasty, bready malts in the aroma. Clear dark copper coloured body is topped by a thin, fizzy, off white head that recedes rapidly to ring. Bready malts and strong orange hop flavour with plenty of tannins leading to a metallic finish. Dry, light-medium body with prickly, strong carbonation. Bottle (BB 04-Nov-06) sampled at West brewpub in Glasgow (May-06). Mungo (2470) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - NOV 14, 2005
Bottle at London Gathering. Rounded caramel and faint nuts. Cloying sweetness without balance.
