Tank to stein at my HSF leaving drinks at the Tank & Paddle Bishopsgate. Short review with colleagues. As Meantime Brewery Fresh Lager. Golden orange, translucent with a dense foamy off white head. Fairly creamy with soft to tingly carbonation in mouth but fizzy and burp-inducing on the stomach. Taste is biscuity malt sugars, touch of fennel, sawdust and pencil sharpenings, crisp grassy finish. Very clean and drinkable. Stands out from the lager crowd without being a great beverage in itself. (5-5-6-3-13=3.2) Terminus (3742) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - SEP 27, 2016
Tap at Miniories pub in London
Pours clear bright yellow hue with a small fizzy white head and sparse lacing. Nice looking lager. Nose of German hops bright yeast and some cracker malt base. Lite mineral quality as well thinking sulfur. Flavors follow suit with nice crisp spicy hops, lager yeast and crackers pale malt base. Long spicy hop and lingering pale malt base as well. Great lager if you ask me. Grumbo (4565) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - AUG 7, 2016
On tap at the Albany by Gt Portland Street station, London. Pours golden with an orange tint and a small short lasting off white head. Aroma of light hop, corn and grass, and hint of lemon. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Light body, some creaminess to texture, above average carbonation. Finish became increasingly bitter, and quite gassy. Hoped for better.

On tap at The Understudy London. Clear pale gold colour lasting white head. You can almost smell the unfiltered Ness. It’s just so much fuller. The flavour mouth feel and cereal flavour is pretty much spot on for a zwickl. It is pretty good for the style. Good hop bite on the finish. Impressive lager unfiltered in London. Good character good drinkability. Lower than usual carbonation gives it that zwickl feel. Good. flying_pig (1695) - SCOTLAND - JUN 23, 2015

An enjoyable Meantime offering & a decent attempt at a pale lager from a UK brewery. The beer was quite refreshing and easy to drink with no one flavour dominating making it a drink well worth trying if you get the chance.
Cervesa lleugera i fàcil de beure, té un lleuger toc herbal molt curiós.

Good easy drinking lager probably the best out there. Nice session drink. Tried at brew wharf at borough market. Probably best lager out there. anders37 (27898) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JUL 28, 2014
