3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
It pours a big beige head which persists not so long; very nice bouquet of dark chocolate, vanilla, mature fruit, banana, hints of spices. It’s taste is mellow and less roasty than i expected. Pleasant aftertaste of choco and coffee. Maybe I’d prefer it a little bit less chocolatey, but it’s though a very good beer.
Black coloured porter with brown shining through it and a cream coloured head.
Aroma: sweet, fruity, candy and some roast
Taste: chocolate, coffee, some vanilla and sweet.

26-09-2017; bottle; at Jofel, Rotterdam. The looks of the beer are very nice. It looks like a perfect Porter. The color of the beer is an extremely dark brown, almost black. The beer is to dark to say anything about the clarity. On top of je beer a nice layer of almond colored foam is formed. Foam retention is avarage. After a while only a thin drape is left. Nice.
The smell of the beer is nice. It has a good Porter aroma. There are a lot of chocolate aromas. I smell strong chocolate, which is clear and pure. Besides the chocolate there are nice aromas of caramel and coffee, but mainly chocolate. There is also nice touch of hops, giving some fruitiness, but he main aroma is chocolate. Nice.
The taste of the beer is also nice. It is less chocolaty than the smell though. There are some flavors of caramel and coffee, but still the chocolate is the strongest. There are some slightly stronger hops. They give some nice fruity bitters. The beer is well balanced. Nice.
The palate is fine. Full body, slightly sticky texture and low carbonation. The finish contains nice chocolate flavors and a nice hoppy bitterness. A very good beer, I like it. Soupordean (86) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 10, 2017
Very bitter dark chocolate and roasted or burnt malts combine in an unusual beer. OK. Drinkable

Colore scuro, schiuma compatta e persistente. Al naso malti tostati e cioccolato. Al palato predomina il cioccolato, caffè. Corpo leggero, con una carbonazione alta per il tipo di birra, dove il cioccolato predomina. Una porter che si beve facilmente anche nei mesi caldi. Maits (560) - ESTONIA - AUG 23, 2017
Dark brown beer with thick beige head. Aroma is full of chocolate and roasted malts. Taste is nice sweet chocolate and vanilla with little bitter ending. Nice warming and enjoyable beer. radassace (409) - SCOTLAND - JUL 29, 2017
330ml bottle. Pours dark cherry with a beige head. Nose is like a room temperature hot chocolate with some roasted malts. Medium mouth feel. Lots of chocolate. milk chocolate. Perhaps a bit too much. Roasted malts, milkshake and milky coffee and a slight bitter finish on the taste. Decent. AleRider78 (1409) - Winchester, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 29, 2017
Enjoyed a bottle at Bistro L’Autre Oeil, Aylmer. Pours a thin brownish foamy head but goes away after a bit. Has a very dark brown appearance. Ok lacing. Nice mild aromas of chocolate and dark roasted malts and light vanilla notes. Flavours of mocha, chocolate and roasted malts. Some notes of caramel and a bit of vanilla in the finish. Medium retention. Wet mouthfeel, light creaminess. Very good. :) schavuitje (278) - APELDOORN, NETHERLANDS - JUL 29, 2017
