COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Less a beer style, more an institution, a Festbier is any beer brewed for a festival, of which the Oktoberfests are merely the highest profile and best known. At 5.5% alcohol ours hits the absolutely typical strength spot on.

3.5
BeerViking (4798) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 8, 2012
Deep gold with a lasting thin white head. Peachy Saison aroma, tart and fruity, earthy notes, dry, fruity and tart finish. Odd, but very quaffable - or it would be if it wasn’t so gassy.

JanLaursen (3227) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 2, 2012
Bottle: hazy pale beer with a short but lasting white head. Malty aroma with notes of caramel, hay and some grass. Taste is medium sweet with quite a bitter finish for the style, grassy notes. Light body for the style. More like a strong pilsner than an Oktoberfest.
