750 ml bottle shared by DrSilverworm. Pours a clear reddish, light brown color with a thin off white film. The aroma and flavor show almost no stout character at all. Tart cranberry, wood, some metallic character, hints of chocolate and caramel. Thin and just not what I would expect upon reading the title.

Tmoney99 (14978) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 10, 2013
Bottle shared by Dr Silverworm. Poured a clear dark ruby color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate roasted chocolate and berry aroma. Medium sweet toasted malt flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. This is a soft beer for style.

750 ml bottle shared by DrSilverworm- thanks, Chris! Pours a dark mahogany-brown color with a small beige head. Aroma of toasted malts, brown sugar, nuts, chocolate, and dark berry fruit. Flavor of cranberries, copper, toasted malts, and earth. Light-bodied, with a metallic mouthfeel that finishes dry. Low carbonation. Really odd and thin. Doesn’t really work.

DrSilverworm (9672) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 6, 2013
750ml bottle, shared with local raters. Clear brown red color. Thin khaki head. Cranberry nose. Almost no stout-like characteristics. Some metallic. Very sweet taste, lightly tart. Medium body. Lighter, kind of crisp carbonation, and a sticky finish. Not my style, too sweet and fruity. Would prefer more dark stout flavor to balance this out.

b3shine (9150) - Indiana, USA - DEC 5, 2013
750 ml bottle to snifter (shared by DrSilverworm). Looks good; cola with thin light beige head that dissipates into thin lacing pretty quickly. Smells of dark malt and cranberries. Tastes like it smells with a somewhat tart mouthfeel. Not bad.

larsga (7656) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 29, 2012
Small beige head. Clear deep dark red body with carbonation. Earthy licorice and prunes aroma. Dry-tart earthy chocolate and wild berries taste with soy sauce notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, astringent mouthfeel. Dryish-tart aftertaste is much the same, with slight funkiness. Really unusual and highly interesting. (0.25l draft at Schouskjelleren, Oslo.)

3.3
oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 1, 2012
Draught (backlog). Deep reddish brown colour with a small off-white fluffy head. Aroma is sour berries, some sweet malts, mild roast and liquorice. Flavour is berries, roasted malts, some toffee, liquorice and mild ashes. Nice sour edge, which actually reminds a bit of infected sourness, but still not that harsh.
