Draft. Berry and caramel malt aroma. Black with moderate head. Sweet tart cranberry and light chocolate malt flavor. Body on the light side. Nice. ContemplateBeer (2097) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - APR 13, 2014
Aroma: More berry than I’ve ever smelled in a stout; almost reminds me of "foreign" stouts with high berry esters. The tartness from the cranberry is very apparent; chocolate/roast and other stout characteristics are muted, but present. Appearance: Pitch black with a skin of bone, patchy head. Flavor: Very tart cranberry with a chocolate/light roast background; a "wild" stout if you will. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, flat carbonation, long finish. Overall: As others have noted, I would’ve liked a little more malt background, but this was enjoyable nonetheless. Maybe the ultimate warm-weather stout. superspak (6200) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - JUL 23, 2014
750 ml bottle into pint glass; bottled on 9/6/2013, 6% ABV listed. Pours crystal clear very dark reddish brown color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty foamy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of chocolate, cocoa, toast, cranberry, brown bread, light roast, raisin, plum, fig, herbal, and toast/yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bready malt, cranberry, and fruity/earthy yeast ester notes; with decent strength. Taste of chocolate, cocoa, cranberry, toast, brown bread, light roast, raisin, plum, fig, herbal, and toast/yeast earthiness. Light fruity tartness/earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of chocolate, cocoa, cranberry, toast, brown bread, light roast, raisin, plum, fig, herbal, and toast/yeast earthiness on the finish fora short bit. Nice complexity and balance of dark/bready malt, cranberry, and fruity/earthy yeast flavors; with solid robustness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly creamy/acidic mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very solid fruited stout. Good balance and complexity of dark/bready malt, cranberry, and fruity/earthy yeast flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. I was expecting much more robustness from malt flavors for a 6% stout; but it was an enjoyable offering. Mezcalmannen (514) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 16, 2011

Dark brown or reddish colour, off-white head. The cranberry aroma and taste are modest in this one, but absolutely present as a slight sourness on the roasty and malty base. ([email protected]
On tap at Schouskjelleren. Dark ruby beer. Lovely sour berry flavour interlaced by a light stout base. But it is quite one dimensional. Leee juice and a stronger beer would be just the thing.

On tap. Pours brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is roasted malts with some coffee and wood. Taste is little malty with a acidic bite from cranberries. Little sweetness and berry-like fruitiness. The acidity and fruity taste is very subtle and natural, very refreshing and peculiar. Soft carbonation, medium mouthfeel. Overall, definitely interesting offering but a bit underattenuated in aromas and flavors.
