On tap at Brew Wharf. Clear amber brown beer. Soft to semi dry palate. Light tasting. Refreshing juicy malt with a well judged elderflower sweetness on the follow through. Leaves a sweet elderflower cordial taste on the lips after the soft finish. This was spot on the warm day that I had it. Very nice.
Bottle. Pours a golden copper with small slightly cream coloured head. Minimal lacing. Plenty of malt sweetness on the nose with lots of caramel. Some floral hops aromas but the malt really dominates. Flavours are quite sweet as expected with some hops & spices on the finish, Slight alcohol hit on the end, Finish is quite dry. Not too bad nate2g (1548) - Boomtown!, AUSTRALIA - FEB 13, 2010
Bottle. From memory this was bottled in May ’09. Lets see how this has held up in the bottle. Looks OK - a very dark amber/copper with a small off-white head. Aroma and flavour of caramel, toffee and subtle hop notes. A floral character is evident (not sure if that’s the elderflower coming through?). Mouthfeel is not up to par - slightly tinny/metallic on the palate. This shows in the finish as well. I’d say this has passed it’s prime. jonno (2795) - JAPAN - FEB 12, 2010
UPDATED: FEB 13, 2010 Nose was kind of funky - a bit weird. However in the mouth it was smooth and quite hoppy. Nothing amazing but just a well made, relaxing beer. Thanks to Nate for this.

Bottle at BH, Pori. Copper, very thin & coarse fading head. Very mild aroma, hint of dill and raisins, metal, some syrupy maltiness, nothing much. Flavor is dryish toasty malts, bread, that same dill, mild flowery bitterness, pretty empty. Light to medium bodied, neutral foaming carbonation. Tastes like all the Meantimes I’ve had recently, dull and uninspired that is. Stew41 (2040) - Phuket, THAILAND - OCT 6, 2009
I found this beer really quite interesting and very classy. Seemed to me to be bits part Vienna and Pilsner. Malt shows a wonderfully light touch with the faintest caramel hint on the nose. Surprisingly dry structure, almost in the Asahi mould. A genuine all day sipper this. No doubt it lacks excitement but this is all about structure. mkel07 (6123) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - SEP 27, 2009
500ml bottle. Deep golden sunset colour with a nice densly compacted beige head. Aroma of elderflower and dirt, quite a pleasant mix. Nice strong well balanced flavour with floral hops conming through, very tasty. bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - SEP 19, 2009
Short head on a clear orangey amber body. Not too sure what elderflower smells or tastes like though there is something in that aroma as well as the the slightly sweet malt aroma. A little bit grainy in the taste, simple enough and easy enough to drink. gam (3956) - brisbane, AUSTRALIA - AUG 23, 2009
