Meantime are Britain’s only brewers of authentic India Pale Ale. Small batch production allows us to apply the attention to detail and care we require to produce an authentic IPA especially for you. Pound upon pound of Fuggles & Goldings hops are needed to enable us to achieve the dry hopping rates necessary to recreate this great beer style. Enjoy with hot foods and spicy friends, or vice versa.

Tasted on 3/31/14 from a capped 375mL bottle purchased at (had this one several times, but this one was purchased at) Frugal MacDoogal. Pours hazy bright orange with a thick white head that slowly settles into thick lace, leaving residue along the inside of the glass. The nose is earthy and spicy hops with just enough dark bread malt to provide backbone. The flavor is the same, really focused on the earthy and spicy hops with the addition of some orange peel, and the malt showing a bit more caramel. The body is medium with average carbonation and a long nicely bitter earthy, spicy, and orange peel hops.

Getreidiges Opal IPA mit Würzhoppyness und Ankupferung. Let the Schnitzel roll 😀. Krätzig britisch..wie der Brexit😎. Vom Hahn beim Futtern in Grollooooo...0,25l...3,80

DijkBier (373) - AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - MAY 29, 2017
On tap in Amsterdam student bar. Clear dark gold with nice off-white head. Hardly any nose at all (or was it because the draught was so cold?); faint hoppiness, fruity. Taste modestly bitter and modestly sweet; nice. It’s an OK IPA, but I sensed too little character to really appreciate it more.

JanEric (1230) - Meppel, NETHERLANDS - MAY 12, 2017
Bottle at Bierfestival groningen (mastercalass). A bit earthy IPA, bietterness english style (not too much), a bit average. Alcohol well hidden.

Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Przyjemne, klasyczne IPA z wyraźną, ciasteczkową słodowością i kwiatowo-tytoniowymi chmielami.

vipinvelp (4370) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - APR 18, 2017
Gift from Tim. Light hazy dark orange, off-white lacing foam head. Nice hoppy aroma and bitter taste, no outspoken, modest. OK. (Rotterdam 201704)

pleispleis (91) - Maccagno, ITALY - APR 16, 2017
Bottiglia 75 cl. Schiuma bianca media persistenza, al naso e in bocca luppoli e note agrumate, amaro e carbonatazione decisa, lungo nel finale. Non entusiasmante.

kaserov (677) - Oviedo, SPAIN - MAR 26, 2017

3.5
Calisky (2916) - ALSACE, FRANCE - MAR 23, 2017

3.4
Maakun (5370) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - FEB 25, 2017
Tap at Eeuwige Jachtvelden. Slight hazy golden with big off white head. Light apricot, grapefruit, bready malts, quite grassy. Not crazy on the hops but decent fruity. Medium sweet and under medium bitter. Quite some carbonation.
