COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle and keg - force carbonated. Is available cask conditioned. Cold fermented and lagered.
Ingredients: Pale ale malt, pale crystal malt, and Munich malt: Cascade, Cluster, and Goldings hops.

One hundred and fifty years ago the new bitter beer style, Pale Ale, was so popular that brewers had to import Californian hops to meet demand. Meantime London Pale Ale continues that tradition by combining lots of American Cascade and Centennial hops to give it a complex citrus aroma and buckets full of local Kentish Goldings to provide the bitterness that makes the style so refreshing. Together they conspire to assail the nose with a complex, heady mix of spearmint, grass and ‘hop sack’ aromas, fruity citrus flavours and a bitter finish that makes pale ale drinking a truly rewarding experience.

Bottle, 33 cl, SB. Pleasant ale, smooth and well balanced. Not that hoppy. Small bitter finish.

330ml bottle, bought at Tabun Kitchen in London, which is supposed to serve Palestinian beer, but there wasn’t any left goddamnit. Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma is citrus, grass, pale malt. Taste is malt, biscuit, grassy hops, resin. Good, but no substitute for a new country tick.

Ritzn (1709) - GERMANY - OCT 6, 2017
Golden/amber with large white head. Aroma is overripe peach, cookie dough, slight salt, prickly pear, maybe a hint of mold? Taste is fresh and light sourness, lime juice, low carbonated. Only little traces of a malty body. Sticky on the tongue, many oils. Hints of mint and pine cone in the finish. However all in all very light bodied, almost watery with not much presence. Not so special.

Vighals (4369) - Sørumsand, NORWAY - OCT 6, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 6, 2017 Gylden brun klar med lavt hvitt skum. Lite lukt, noe honning og tørket frukt. Lett. Smaker lett bitter sitrus, grapefrukt og noe karamell og honning.

Bottle 330ml. Clear copper, fizzy fluffy head. Well, a bit boring really... Just some bitterness and malts. Finish has some metallic offnotes. Nah, expected more from this...

Fin flaska. Dåligt skum som påminner mer om cider än öl ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

circinus (325) - SWEDEN - SEP 29, 2017
Bottle 33 cl from Systembolaget. Clear golden with a nice white head. Grassy, floral, hoppy, malty mixed aroma. Some caramel, maltiness, bread, a bit of bitterness. Medium body, medium/high carbonation, malty finish.

Vignale (3966) - Malmö, SWEDEN - SEP 28, 2017
Flaska från SB. Bärnstensfärgad, i princip klar, lågt vitt skum. Gott.

Color is copper and clear with a small white head. Aroma is sweet and smells caramel. Taste is nice and sweet with a little bitter aftertaste. Overall a pleasant beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
