COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle and keg - force carbonated. Is available cask conditioned. Cold fermented and lagered.
Ingredients: Pale ale malt, pale crystal malt, and Munich malt: Cascade, Cluster, and Goldings hops.

One hundred and fifty years ago the new bitter beer style, Pale Ale, was so popular that brewers had to import Californian hops to meet demand. Meantime London Pale Ale continues that tradition by combining lots of American Cascade and Centennial hops to give it a complex citrus aroma and buckets full of local Kentish Goldings to provide the bitterness that makes the style so refreshing. Together they conspire to assail the nose with a complex, heady mix of spearmint, grass and ‘hop sack’ aromas, fruity citrus flavours and a bitter finish that makes pale ale drinking a truly rewarding experience.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy copper with a thin off-white head. Decent if unremarkable aroma with hops and a little yeast. Flavours of citrus, perhaps some peach. A good amount of hops and enough bitterness to counterbalance the real sweetness this beer has. A good pale ale, pretty well balanced.

UPDATED: JAN 5, 2018 Mörkt halmgul med tunt vitt skum. Doftar fruktigt, lite bröd och malt. Smaken mellanfyllig, tämligen besk. Eftersmaken hyggligt lång, lite fruktig, ganska besk.

Light golden colour with plenty of fizz but unfortunately little aroma or hop taste. If I was blind tasting this i'd swear someone had slipped me a Lager :(

Pite po terminie do 05.12.2015. Piana średnia zdobi szkło. Kolor bursztyn lekko zmętniony. Aromat cytrusy, cytrynowy. Smak pełnia słodowa przy zachowaniu lekkości i wysokiej pijalności, lekko kwaskowe, orzeźwiające, cytrynowe. Alkoholu nie czuć, goryczka wyraźna nie za wysoka. Bardzo dobre.

Not too bad, floral aroma and taste which must be subtle as I found it became less pronounced and more watery. Overall quite average though.
