An unclear brown beer with a thin light brown head. The aroma is sweet with the most dominant note being that of prunes. The flavor is sweet with notes of leather and roasted malt, the roastiness giving it a dry end. joergen (29007) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 15, 2005

Warning! Early amateur rating! Slighty red looking portter. A trace of smoke at the start but then full bodied with caramel and fruit tones. Dry finish. Very drinkable.
(Bottle 75 cl) Unclear, greyish brown with an off-white head. Slightly ashy, burned aroma. Taste of very hard roasted malts, but yet sort of a soft mouthfeel. Some underlying sweetish notes of (dried) fruit and chocolate leading up to a very dry finish. 120805
