In the days before lager, Pale Ale was the original reassuringly expensive tipple. Drinking it set you apart from the Bitter crowd. Our Pale Ale is more than special. English Goldings, American Cascade & Cluster hops provide the bitterness, whilst our unique dry hopping technique with bucketfuls of Cascade & Willamette hops gives it a tantalising aroma.

Keg. A pleasant lunchtime pint, that had a good flavour - once it had warmed up a bit as it was served way too cold - and a pleasant mouthfeel. A nice dark colour and a gentle flavour of hops coming through. Not the most exciting of beers, but solid.

Tinaccio (453) - Milano, ITALY - MAR 26, 2017
Pint on tap at The Culpeper, London (UK). Colour is clear orange. Small white head. Aroma of malt and hops. Taste is hops, light citrus. Typical british pale ale.

Bottle. Amber colour. Hoppy aroma and bite (grassy spicy hops). Malty base (buttery and caramel). Fruit (grapefruit-citrus). Hop bitterness dominates throughout. Dry hoppy finish. (2008)

Tap at the Keg, Munich. Dark Amber, golden cream. Caramel malt and earthy hop nose Medium light earthy base, sweet one-dimensional caramel base. Medium light boring body.

JPC1524 (213) - Devon, ENGLAND - SEP 8, 2016
Dark golden pour with little to no head. Soft malty and hoppy aromas. Easy drinking Pale Ale which I found more malty than hoppy.

Ktwse (5246) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 13, 2016
Pours clear amber with low white head. Aroma of rye bread, citrus. Tastes bready with light caramel and a medium bitter finish. Light and smooth body with soft carbonation.

Tap. Floral hops with citric nites. Amber ale with thin white top. Tastes soapy and fruity with muted biscuit undertones. The flavours grow fruitier and so does the carbonation. This may well appeal to a younger market so ker-Ching to all involved.

thellgren (1097) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 22, 2015
pint draught @ Greenwich Union, London. This is similar thirst quncher as the brewery’s lager but in a deeper way. Colour is amber, no head. More hoppy, malts come in the second place here. Still, this is not an APA. but an English pale ale. Great with pub food.

borre_m (1689) - NORWAY - SEP 19, 2015
Pours clear deep golden. Aroma is slightly hoppy, but balanced. Taste is balanced, nice.

martjoobolut (4846) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - AUG 23, 2015
From the very old notes, hence this is not a real rating, but more just a mark to myself that I have tried this at one point. This was decent hoppy pale ale.
