On tap. Pours cloudy yellow with big white head. In aroma and taste an average hefeweizen. Quite good though.

Clearly a wheat beer from its aroma. Yellow amber and cloudy appearance. Love the bottle too. Very fruity and tangy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg @ Greenwich Union, Greenwich. Had this back around 2002 in my London days, so don’t remember it too much except it being a decent and deep tasting wheat, although not quite up to the Bavarian standards despite the brewer’s history of being out there.

Whether it was because the beer was somewhat above date is not known, boring wheat beer not when the Germans to size. Must be tasted again. only taste of wheat, missing fruity flavor. slightly acidic

GoufCustom (2003) - HONG KONG - JUN 21, 2014

330ml bottle bought at Great Food hall in Pacific Place, Admiralty.

Cloudy hazy dull Golden orange colour with traces of dirt-like yeast sediments; One finger head with off-white foam which lasts for 90 seconds; Minimal lacing and fizzy carbonation; Aroma of mashed banana, wheaty tartness, plum, light dark fruits, strong ester, cloves, spices, light malt, light lemon and thin grass; Extremely tart and minimal sweet taste of light malt, with strong metallic, strong wheat, faint banana, sour fruits, soda, strong cloves and spices, yeast, lemon, light bitter hops and grass; Light body. Thin and tart palate; Mouth feel is very sour and metallic. Watery body, strong estery cloves and spicy plus strong sour fruits, which is just too much. Yikes!... Hoppiness is light lemon and grass in nose. Lemon and notable grass in taste. Bitterness is a little stronger than most German Hefeweiss for an abrupt, very low bitter finish; Fairly dry after taste. Sour and chemical to mouth.

Comments: I don’t think my bottle is infected, as the label stated it has 60% wheat malt by content, so this is what it is: wheaty tartness overkill, chemical aroma, strong metallic taste, not much fruity characters like those done by the Germans. In short: a failure!

Draught @ The Old Brewery. Aroma of sweet wheat and fruity yeast. Haze amber with virtually no head. Wheat sweetness. Not much bitterness. Good body with average carbonation. Finish is a little bitter and sour.

Nice medium to full body. Pleasent aroma. Good sweetness and acidity. The color gave the expection that it would have been a bit bigger. Over all good.
