From tap at Market Porter. Pours hazy orange with a fully gone head. Aroma is solid estery fruity with alight wheaty note. Sweet wheaty flavoured. Light acidic and orange fruity touch. Dry phenolic flavoured finish. Classic and simple, not my thing.

Draught @ Greenwich Union, Greenwich. Pours a hazy golden/orange color with a white head. Malty wheaty fruity yeasty aroma with some hints of bananas. Sweet malty wheat flavor with hints of yeast and bananas. Sweetish wheat finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Draught. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is wheat mixed in a lager. Sadly, the same goes for the flavour, so I didn’t find the beer pleasant at all.

Papsoe (25062) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 3, 2005
(Bottle 33 cl) Orangey golden and hazy with a bubbly head that quickly collapses and almost vanishes completely. Yeasty sediment. Lovely fruity esters with the typical notes of citrus and banana. Very dry palate. Meantime really manages to brew very well to style - this is no exception. 200505

Tap at the Union Tavern - Westbourne Park, London. Pours cloudy gold with a fine, creamy white head that fizzes away pretty quickly. The nose has lots of dought wheat, some clove and semi-ripe banana. Light to medium sweet flavor, more lightly sugary wheat, mild spices, banana. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Further sweet, bready wheat in the finish, spicy cloves, faint apple, mashed bananas. Pleasant.

Keg at the Brew Wharf, London
Cloudy blond color. The aroma is a bit chemical at first, then shows a spicy character. The taste is quite unusual, quite sweet, yet with a stgrong spicy (cloves) component, persistent in the final. Not too much professional, but enjoyable.
