meerbier (1474) - Pijnacker, NETHERLANDS - JAN 2, 2011
[email protected] Quite malty aroma, lightly roasted. Dark brown, light brown head, fair lace. Sweetish, light bitter, malty, lightly roasted, light herbal hops. Easy going.

RexTalionis (3775) - FINLAND - DEC 16, 2010
Bottle 50 cl. Poured almost black with slightly tan head. Aroma is smoke, coffee and even some chocolate. Flavour is slightly roasted and coffee. Also some light smoke with wooden notes detected. Ok, but a bit thin.

Kavu (4981) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 11, 2010
Pours pretty dark brown with a medium brownish head. Aroma is roasted malts, flavor is mostly roasted malts too with some spices and caramel. Quite watery. Disappointing.

mikkopen (1185) - Guelph, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 11, 2010
500 ml bottle. Clear dark reddish brown colour, medium-sized light beige head. Smoky aroma of roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Dryish, salty, roasted-malty, smoky flavour with a roasted, bitter finish. OK, but a bit too light-bodied.

rosenbergh (11681) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 5, 2010

Dark reddish brown colour with small tan head. Coffee, hops and roasted malt in aroma. Flavour is pretty much the same. Some bitterness.

Archibaldo de la Cruz (1120) - FINLAND - NOV 28, 2010
Bottle. Reddish brown colour with a small off-white head. Roasted malt and smoke in the nose. Flavour is smoky, roasted malt some sweetness and bitterness. Light to medium body.

Lalli (243) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 27, 2010
Bottle. Nice ruby red/copper brown color, rich and fluffy head. The first thing that strikes me in the aroma is the smoke. Wasn´t really expecting that, but as a great fan of Bamberg, it´s all good. Unfortunately, nothing else really happens with this beer, and it ends up feeling like a pretty lame copy of Schlenkerla´s Märzen. The palate is weak, and in the end the brew feels rather watery.

MikeKeller (956) - Kemi, FINLAND - NOV 22, 2010
Bottle from Alko. Dark cola brown colour, off-white staying head. Very smoky malty aroma. Smoke malts also in the taste which is not as sweet as Schlenkerlas’. A bit watery ending, a bit more body would be nice there. Quite nice smoky schwarz.

2.4
BeerBaboon (2114) - FINLAND - NOV 21, 2010
Brown colour. Aroma is smoke, coffee and a micture of dark fruits and vegetables. Flavour is roasted malts, just a little bit of metallic notes with a dry finish.

3.4
TET (3130) - Kaarina, FINLAND - NOV 19, 2010
Dark brown beer with medium and beige head. Aroma is medium roasted, sour, chaulk and dry with some coffee, also hint of chocolate. Flavour is balanced with aroma, roastiness, coffee, some sourness and sweetness; nothing special, but still balanced and nice. Quiote light body with medium/quite high carbonation. Easy and quite light winter warmer.
