Koelschtrinker (20398) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 13, 2011
11/11/11/10/13/11

harrisoni (18578) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - NOV 22, 2007
500ml Bottle from Sainsbury. Very deep ruby with lasting dark beige head. Slightly smokey aroma. Decent milky coffee notes. It’s a kind of strong smokey porter. Would like a bit more depth in the mouth. Still a nice smoked beer.

TBone (17530) - Pori, FINLAND - NOV 17, 2007
Bottled (BB 10/2009)
Dark ruby color, small beige head. Nose has toffee, caramel, whiskey barrel kind of vanilla. Aroma is similar to Highland Park -whiskey (sniffed side by side with this). Medium-bodied. Sweet chocolate, some smokey notes, overall quite soft. Flavors are not attacking or overwhelming. Nice beer to sip and as it is "only" 5,4 %, not alcoholic (as "winter warmers" often are).

Dedollewaitor (16158) - Odense, DENMARK - NOV 30, 2007
Bottle 50 cl. Pours dark brown with off white creamy head. Strong malty roast aroma - coffee/chocoalte/dark fruits & a bit of smoke. Body is medium and soft and all around this is very pleasant & well made. Carbonation is quite british - rarely noticeable.

Scopey (14723) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 15, 2015
Keg (5.9%) at The Mitre, near Lancaster Gate. It pours clear deep brown with a medium off-white head. The nose is pretty sweet, syrupy, caramel, chewy malt, brown sugars and dried fruits. The taste is bitter-sweet, toffee, dried fruits, toasted brown sugars, some earthy roast, cola and cardboard with a dry, sweetish finish. Medium body, average and sticky mouth-feel. A bit sweet and one-dimensional. OK I suppose.

imdownthepub (14552) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 15, 2008
Bottle condtioned, 500ml from Sainsbury’s, Banbury. Black with ruby hue, brown head. Full bodied Porter, heavy, roasty malty body, pleasantly dry, burnt notes, quite charry coffee notes. A little powdery on the palate leading to a bitter, long finsh. Went really well with Steak & Onions. Good stuff.

2.6
Rune (12753) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 23, 2008
A winter warmer for a cold summer day in the Arctic. Bottle shared at Charley’s post-birthday party in Tromsø. Off-white head over a dark brown body. Smoked aroma with hints of grain. Dark fruits and nutty malts in flavour. Smooth bitter ending. An easy drinking porter a bit out of tune (14.06.2008).
