Bottle; pours clear copper with a khaki head; aroma is grapefruit with some caramel; taste starts sweet with caramel and then becomes bitter with grapefruit and orange; finish is bitter with more citrus; pretty good ale

5th May 2015: keg half-pint in Royal Oak somewhere in London. Red hue to the amber body, on top an off-white crown of foam. The nose had a mild malty aroma with some background earthiness. Taste, a blend of pale malts and slightly bittering hops: not as much going on as I hoped for. Not bland, but not flavoursome either.

33cl bottle at home. Clear amber brown with a small slightly off-white head. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Subtle sweet and bitter tones. Caramel, malts, herbs and spices. A decent amber ale.

On tap. Pours a nice clear ruby with a few beige bubbles. Aroma is slightly nutty malts, bread and hops. Wasn’t so keen on the taste as I found this rather stale. I’ll try a bottle and re rate.

Clear deep amber reddish color, medium beige head. Aroma of caramel, malt, dried fruits, honey, spicy hops. Dry sweet taste with subtle bitterness in finish and dry hoppy aftertaste. Thin body and average carbonation. Nice beer, very drinkable.

Keg at the White Horse. Dark red, hazy, still, very big dense foamy tan head, full lacing. Aroma is fruit pastilles, perfume, turkish delight, rose garden. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is earthy soda water, rose, more fruit pastille, lemon. Dry with a soft bitterness. Good.

Pours red with a tiny head, Found this surprisingly bland, pale malt dominates but little standout flavour or complexity.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks Ariel’s friend! Clear red-amber. Aroma of skunky hops, slightly weedy, and some malt. Flavor has some sweetish malt, a bit toasty, hops, kinda skunky, a bit citric, and a dry bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

Draft. Clear, copper red beer with a tall off white head. Strong carbonation, good flavored of malt. Lots to like for a low alcohol brew ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
