Bue en bouteille de 33cl. Couleur ambrée foncée. Maltée, caramel, pain. Houblons sur la fin. Ensemble moyen.

Grass, wheat, citrus and apples. Taste is citrus, flowers, pine and juniper. Nice reddish amber with a thin creamy light tan head.

guzgorog (865) - FRANCE - MAY 24, 2017

Bottle from the Republique Monoprix. Pours dark amber with a slight white head. Hop aromas seem mild and fruity. Med body. Unfortunately it does seem to be an amber. More hops than many, but not enough to hide the amber yuckiness. Pretty flavorful for 4%, and the hops are flavorful, but it just won’t work for me. Ambers. Frequently bleh. Get the ABV to 8 or 9, hop it to unbelievable levels, and usually good for me. This is not very tasty. I’d guesstimate half the beers I’ve rated are tastier. I’m trying so hard to really like this. Sigh.

JanEric (1233) - Meppel, NETHERLANDS - MAY 12, 2017
Bottle at bierfestival Groningen (masterclass). Nice fruity red amber ale, refreshening with lots of taste (or maybe I was thirsty after starting the mc because it took a while before the bottles were uncorked).

radassace (317) - SCOTLAND - MAY 5, 2017
330ml bottle. Pours a chestnut red. Nose of rye bread and caramel. Light body, taste is rye brown bread and caramel with a bit of toast Ines. Bit of bitterness on the backend. Nice!

bartlebier (3982) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - MAY 3, 2017
33cl bb02/2018, Waitrose Hull April 2017. - Translucent reddish amber. Faint aroma of sweet red berries (ribes), diluted pink grapefruit lemonade with a shot of caramel almond milk. Refined, as in processed, toasted malts slick as supermarket chocolate milk, with a moderate mixed dose of English wayside hop taste, thin breakfast tea, more than thin piney Yakima resins. Pleasant enough, if obviously middle-of-the-road from the recipe up.

SkillsFactory (738) - ITALY - APR 29, 2017
Lotto 170411, best before 10/02/18, aperta il 29 aprile 2017. Corpo leggero, mediamente carbonata.

Pretty average red ale. One dimensional maltiness. Don’t remember much else. Wouldn’t buy again

Dommage... Bouteille 33cl, Boissons du Monde, Saint-Egrève.
